Maybe I'm stretching (I think the only site where we keep it real) but I think it's a clue to us. To us, that are seriously interested in finding Lauren. I can't think straight tonight, anyone have any ideas they'd like to share about the "clue"? She's trying to say something without saying anything. Let's figure it out.

Maybe she's saying that between the time of SW and JR's and Kilroy's is where this happened, being inebriated and such. Did someone put something in her drink.... It came on relatively fast.

...I'm not proud of my English comp tonight, I have no idea why I can't write!!:banghead:

It does sound like a clue but I can't figure out what it's about. We know she lost her cell phone in the bar so its' not surprising she made her last phone call before she went to the bar. But there is also a claim that she made a phone call at 4:15 am-could the clue be about that?

Maybe I am dense tonight but I'm not sure I understand what "used" means.
Does it mean that that was the last time at which LS's phone was used to respond to (or initiate) a call or text? (And/or that it was definitely LS who did that?) The last received (incoming) call/text? The phone was turned off (on purpose or battery died) at that point, so she couldn't do anything, even play a game, on it?

Never posted, but have been reading from the beginning.

After reading this new Fox59 interview, it appears to me they're saying "Zach" is JR's roommate and implying he is the same guy who may have punched CR at Smallwood. Am I reading this wrong?

First thing that comes to my mind about the phone call at 12:16 is "who did she call???"

Every time you make a phone call or text you use your cell phone. Her cell phone battery did not die, her phone was not turned off. She lost her cell phone in the bar.

It is definitely a different Zach than the Zach O alleged to be the puncher.

No, I am reading it the same way. But it might just be not a very well written article.

I had similar thoughts in post #24, but I suppose I'm not sure if author is trying to sensationalize or if they are simply poor at following up what they are implying.

At the end of the Fox 59 report at 10:00 they quoted CS as saying that they had not spoken to JR and that they were shocked by his comment. Interesting...

My thoughts:
*She wants us to know that lauren made a call/text. I assume it was to DR. ?

*She may be thinking that laurens disappearance was in the works starting at this time or that her cell phone disappearance was intentional and put the crime into play. This crime could have included a roofie, etc. in her drink.

* For sure she knows something about the call and (if it was a text hopefully they got it early enough). She may have been directing this comment to this person.

I don't see how a comment on when the last time cell phone was used suggests anything about intentional crime.

that was my thought, too... and since they have her phone they KNOW who she called.. or they know who called her...

One would hope by now LE should know whom and when every POI has been calling that night.

It would be a lot more clear if we heard the question he was responding to and not what the voiceover narration tells us he is responding to.

The recording I heard was NOT a voice over... you could hear what the reporter said and what JR said in response

Maybe it wasn't a call, but was a text and they know the contents. Maybe they want that person to know they are fully aware of the exchange.

<snip>

That's a big assumption. I don't necessarily agree. She could have been informing someone of her change in plans from the original plan to stay in for the evening. Just another possibility.
Or arranging for party supplies. Another possibility.

Very. Wow. Maybe JR is a pathological liar. Maybe he's been sucking on the bong 24/7 since he's been back. Maybe he's a big fat player. :furious:

You know...... that was my first response, but then I went back and watched it again, and honestly, I can't say.

But the fact is she claimed she told Lauren's Mom that JR said he spoke to her and her husband privately, you wouldn't think she would say that to them if it wasn't true... but then again, it is Fox, so who knows.

I think all of those may be correct. And also, a big stinking jerk!

Wow the video I see is definitely not just the reporter asking the questions and JR responding. At the part in question a voiceover says "he didn't want to answer any questions, but he did indicate that he has a relationship with Lauren's parents" and then it clicks to the video where he says "I deal with them privately"-I never saw the actual question that the reporter asked to make him say that. Is there any way for me to see this actual other video or the exact question they asked?
