Love you Lauren! Have been here every day since you were lost and plan on being here every day until you're found!

To the Spierer family - if you read this - please know how many people love your daughter and sister, even though many of us, including myself, have never met her or you. I have learned that the people on WS are an amazing and dedicated group of people who genuinely care for those who are missing and who will pull out all the stops to see that they are brought home. Rest assured, she will come home. The fight for her is all you've ever known:

I think its time to acknowledge David Rohn. When faced with adversity he showed compassion for others and was willing to accept responsibility for his actions. He didnt look for excuses or worry about police corruption when asked to take poly. He acted like most innocent people would and cooperated.
Thank You David Rohn !!

That's true but he also likely had Smallwood security cams helping to verify his alibi that he was at SW when this was all happening. So he theoretically would have less risk of being inaccurately suspected or even charged.

http://www.lohud.com/article/20130603/NEWS02/306030033/Lauren-Spierer-s-parents-appalled-drug-abuse-allegation

"Spierer, after drinking at Rosenbaum’s townhouse, went with Rossman to a bar, then back to her building, where he was punched in the face by someone on her floor. After they left there, a barefoot Spierer fell twice on her head, and Rossman carried her part of the way up to his townhouse.

Rosenbaum, a neighbor, has said he let Spierer leave his place, unsteady, intoxicated and with her face bruised, shortly after 4 a.m. She had lost her keys, cellphone and ID."

After I saw all of the newest links to these latest articles and then read all the responses here to the interview with JW's parents I had to just flat refuse to give them any of my attention by reading anything they had to say about Lauren on this sad day. HOWEVER now that it's 15 past midnight I'm ready to give these heartless twits my full and undivided attention.
I've just finished reading the articles quoting NW and AW and I am livid. Mostly about this one that I actually haven't seen posted here (but I'm sure everyone has already seen it anyway)
http://www.lohud.com/article/201306...elatives-call-Lauren-Spierer-s-parents-liars-

I'm completely baffled at how these two callous, disrespectful and altogether unkind parents of JW have the nerve to say all of this when JW's mug shot is every bit as available to the world as Laurens is. Are they truly attempting to make people believe that because their son spent 3 years with Lauren, and in their words, she was the love of his life, that enabling -by secretly 'taking care of' - her to abuse drugs and alcohol with full knowledge of her medical condition, that this would in anyway at all reflect on JW in a positive light and make him look like a some how better or more innocent person?!? On the contrary! This only makes JW look 1) to have very poor judgement 2) like a liar 3) and/or very very stupid 4) spineless 5) to have a severe lacking of character 6) to be the complete and utter opposite of a loving, caring, protective and chivalrous boyfriend. 7)like a child rather than the responsible adult he should be at this point in his life. Probably not what they were going for, but certainly what they've got now.

This sort of thing is exactly what I've talked about before in regards to all these boys and how they appear to have never been held responsible for their bad behaviors.

And I mean really, A and NW can't possibly be so stupid to think that anyone will buy this bs about 'not trusting the BPD to administer a polygraph'! To quote AW from the above linked article, “I don’t think they’re very adept at anything except giving kids drinking tickets,” *nice, how he tries to excuse the publicly known bad behavior of his son right there isn't it* Nadine Wolff said. “I don’t trust them, period.”
Really? SO?? Then I wonder what is preventing JW and his very protective parents from following David Rohns lead by taking a FBI administered polygraph in NYC?

"He said Rohn met with the Spierers’ private investigators for more than two hours and “extensively” answered all of their questions and that he passed a polygraph examination administered by the FBI in New York City."

Perhaps someone that JW and family WILL communicate with should suggest the idea.

the phone and shoes have always been a problem to me. the bartender witness outside 10th and College. IDK...that would mean she was barefoot in the video of the confrontation between ZO and CR, and bare foot when
she fell but the witness doesn't say Lauren was barefoot. Being barefoot would be another reason to be carried, people did note at the time of her disappearance that the alley was scattered with pebbles, glass, etc.
it could be something crazy like the bartender witness found the shoes and phone and brought them back to Kilroys. I really don't see Lauren leaving
without both her shoes and phone, and the staff allowing this to happen.
I've never read anything that said someone returned her shoes and phone to the bar.
From the LE press conference, June 4, 2011
Lauren left Sports with a friend at 2:30 or 2:40 a.m. She left behind her cell phone and shoes, Parker said. The items are in police custody. Lauren likely left her shoes because there is a fenced-in beach and sand area at the bar.

Thank you button is not enough.
As I mentioned earlier, I live in the area and worked with a young man who knew Lauren from HS. I still remember the day he came to work and told me Lauren was missing. He was shaken by the news.

These kids party hard and come from wealthy families. IMO, they all knew exactly what was going on. :twocents:

I'm finally getting caught up on the latest articles, and I'm as sickened and disgusted as the rest of you. WTH kind of person makes such comments about a young person who's missing, probably deceased, and at such a time. I don't recall hearing a word from these people previously. Did they ever once speak out in support of the Spierers? This affirms what many of us have thought all along. The parents have done nothing to encourage their brats to act responsibly. Well, they've shown their true colors now.
MOO

:praying:

My prayers are going up right now to the family and friends who love Lauren. I don't have any news or anything, but I believe in the power of prayer. :please:

You bring up a great point about the shoes. If video evidence supports that she had shoes on leaving smallwood during the altercation that is a red flag. Perhaps her shoes fell off when she was allegedly being carried by mystery man at 3:38am (even though the time stamp is off). I still wonder about the scream Tallboy allegedly heard by the train tracks via ChickJustin.

I also hope that BPD took prints from the key card and wristlet found by AA on the railing.

JR and LS were acquainted from their home state and IIRC had went to the same summer camp (or similar activity) when they were younger.

Unless I've been totally thrown off by bad reporting, rumors, etc that have clouded my memory then JR and LS were acquainted, perhaps closely acquainted, prior to IU.

JR is from Michigan and LS is from NY. But, I believe they're grandparents were neighbors and knew each other. When it comes to us Jewish folks its not 6 degrees of separation, it's usually three degrees!

I'd like to know exactly when AW (JW's father) arrived in Bloomington?

Also I was confused about the article in which he said he texted his son who said he was watching a NY Knicks playoff basketball game. Reason being, on June 2, 2011 the NBA Finals were taking place and it was Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat playing.

I would like to know why he came to Bloomington. His son had already filed a missing person report. I would think they would have approached CR prior to going to LE. Don't think he stayed around to search. I have always felt JW was a little too quick in assuming LS was missing. Would it be possible for JW to walk from his apartment to 11th and college and not be seen on camera?

Take a right on Walnut till you reach 11th. Go left or west on 11th till you reach Jay's place. No cams.

Maybe this has been discussed before. In the picture of LS leaving SW she appears to be holding a white jacket. Does anyone know if the cameras at Kilroy's or at SW with CR show her with the white jacket? If not, maybe she left it at JR's and her phone was in the jacket. Someone at JR's found it and took it to Kilroy's. This would explain to us how she could leave Kilroy's without her phone. Don't think the jacket has been found. This could also explain how JR knew LS did not have her phone and stated she mistook his ipod for a phone.

Speculation: Perhaps he came to help JW move back home for the summer? For all we know, the trip might have been planned before LS disappeared.

I'm not sure why all the speculation on the phone and shoes keep popping up? For one thing it seems fairly well established she left them at the bar. But take that out of the equation and I'm still lost on why there's the occasional focus on this point? I'm assuming there must be a theory floating around that I'm just not seeing.

Someone is going to dispose of her body but plant her phone and shoes at a bar... to what end? I guess you you could argue the phone being planted would be so the perp could call the phone looking for her and someone finding it would see their calls and assume them innocent (since they were looking for her)? Seems far fetched and risky to boot. And the shoes I can't think of anything. That would seem to be needless risk.

...Someone could get caught planting them.... leave trace evidence on them....

If it's 5N guys planting the phone, again to what end? And if it's not the 5N guys then anyone planting it would have to know 5N guys say she didn't have the phone.

According to Lauren's mom, she was waiting for Jeese's classes to end so she could ride back with him to New York City. Jesse was not to graduate untill December. so, he was not moving out.

I don't think Jesse's father's arrival was preplanned.
