Here's one article re. the 2nd confrontation:

http://tucsoncitizen.com/usa-today-news/2011/06/09/friends-car-searched-in-missing-indiana-student-case/

But I remember another one saying that JW was part of it. WIll try to find.

"The lawyer also said a second confrontation, at Rossman’s building, took place a couple of days after Spierer went missing, when other students confronted Rossman."

If JW and/or his buddies went over to Rossman's place a day or two later and a fight broke out, doesn't that say a lot about motivations? Why would JW and/or buddies do that if JW was guilty of anything? It sounds like JW heard the speculation and went over there to confront them about where his girlfriend was.

Also, yesterday LE said that they have recovered more video footage of LS that they are not revealing to the public at this time.

My guess is they're still studying the footage, and may have a better idea of LS's timeline... perhaps (and hopefully) also her movements after 4:30.

Earlier today I read an article where the security guard at Smallwood said Corey wasn't welcome there, they kept a list of people who had caused lots of problems and he was on that list. Shouldn't have been allowed in at all.

But besides that, it seems pretty clear to me he didn't have anything to do with Lauren's disappearance. He was at home passed out.

What do locals know about a Griffy Lake. Just read a comment from a local who says that it is much more accessible from IU..
Anyone know if this lake has been looked into for searching?

Ya I thought about Griffy Lake too. Also seams there is lots of forest type land on the outskirts of town. Has there been any kind of searches other than around the apartments?

Re: Griffy Lake. This was one of the first places searched as soon as it was reported she was missing. It is just north of town.

Lake Griffy and Lake Monroe were searched soon after she went missing.
Griffey is relatively small, with few public access points. Probably not the best place to throw a body. Lake Monroe is much larger and more rural, much harder to find a body there, I'd think.

So LE cannot place Lauren after 2:48AM?
She would have had to be at JR's for close to 90 minutes or so to meet up with this white truck?

I hate that her parents feel her friends are holding back...I hope they are not but it is so hard to know. Also I am surprised that truck owner has not come forward, but no way to know what that means either.

In that blog pic of Lauren and her boyfriend, what is on their wrists?

Is that underage identification or some kind of injury to their wrists?

They were stamped upon entering wherever they are.

The reason I asked is they don't give these out in Indiana though, unless they changed the law since I turned 21.

If I remember correctly, you can't get into club/bar that serves alcohol in Indiana unless you are 21, thus no need for stamps.
In Ohio I have gotten those stamps before.

Of course, the pic could have been taken in New York or anywhere else.

One of the telltale signs mine were not where they sometimes claimed to be :floorlaugh:: next morning would see the remnants of what could not be easily washed off before returning home.

This is also a link to a good picture of the map released by LE that was earlier posted but distorted the margins and had to be removed.

Some clubs that charge a cover stamp to show that you have paid.
