Anyone know the actual cause of death? Or can strangulation cause a brain bleed?
Cause of death: Intracranial hemorrhage

Yes, strangulation can cause the brain to bleed.

When pressure is applied to the neck, it can:
  • Cut off or reduce blood flow to the brain. This starves the brain of oxygen (ischemia), which can cause vessel damage.
  • Damage or tear arteries in the neck (arterial dissection). That can lead to a stroke or bleeding inside the brain.
  • Increase venous pressure. If veins are compressed but arteries are still pumping blood in, pressure can build up in the brain and cause vessels to rupture.

Is this a hearing to set trial or trial is to start? TIA!
Hearing to set a trial date. In my opinion, it will likely be continued. But, we will see!
