GUILTY IN - Liette Martinez, 22, brutally murdered, Fort Wayne, 18 April 2008

It was much simpler in my college days, back then legal age was 18. If the reason for raising drinking age was lack of maturity then they should have raised it to 35.

Ain't that the truth, Karl? I'm a product of the 18 years to drink and 16 to drive. We were clueless, right? Then look at the woman murdered this poor child. She's grown and kills a young lady. Talk about age as a number.

From September 2008:

Martinez and his wife, Geraldine Martinez, should have been on a plane to Las Vegas with their daughter celebrating her 23rd birthday. Instead they were staring at a video montage of her life in Allen County Superior Court. Several feet away, her killer, Tina L. Morris, sat shackled, about to receive a 60-year prison sentence.

His voice breaking, Gabriel Martinez told Morris minutes earlier that he and his wife had tried to open doors for their only child, an Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne junior. College graduation, marriage and grandchildren were all hoped for from the girl known by friends and loved ones as Lola.

“We were so proud,” Gabriel Martinez told Morris. “We’re still proud.”

I just saw this story on TV (8/1/19). I'm very disturbed. Why let this grown person "couch surf" and mooch off of a bunch of 20 year olds. That is the first question. I started seeing this story and immediately knew that Martinez was knifed and scalded with boiling water and hit with a pan by these African "Americans" who should never have been there in the first place. If I had been a mother of one of these girls, I would have driven there (wherever I lived) and threw this dirt bag welfare mooching "mom" out of my child's living area. Why didn't any of these girls or their male friends make her leave? These people looked like trash. Afraid of (God forbid) being the overworked label of racist? Any color person taking advantage of these young people and then killing one of the hard working, honest, smart girls with a wonderful family because of an imagined slight over your daughter being less than intelligent....scum. I really feel for the Martinez family. They looked like good people who just trusted too much.
