Blk & Missing FDN

@BAM_FI

#Elkhart, #IN: 30y/o Marcell Spencer is STILL MISSING and was last seen on December 3rd, 2023 around the downtown Elkhart area.

He does have some judicial history but none that is current/pending or would be reason to go missing. His history of operating impaired is worrisome as he could have been involved in an accident.

Spencer is a devoted father to his three daughters, ages 12, 9 and 7, according to his mother, who adds that family is important to him because he had a rough start in life.

He was born addicted to cocaine and with fetal alcohol syndrome, she said. His father was in prison for rape. After he took a turn in the foster care system, Reeves adopted Spencer when he was 6.

“He would never do anything to jeopardize his freedom or his safety,” Reeves said. “I am fearful that something terrible has happened to him. Mentally, I am trying to prepare myself for the worst.

I can totally understand his start in life. I came out of the foster system, finally adopted by two married Law Enforcement Officers (my Mom was the Sheriff). It can leave its mark, even with the best future parenting. I saw one case involving drug dealing but it was ultimately dismissed in 2019 and had no associated firearms charges.

Order Granting Motion to Dismiss entered. Cause is hereby dismissed without prejudice. Hearing scheduled for June 13, 2019 has been vacated.

Here is the news article from the DOJ on the case Spencer's mom referenced, however. It was investigated by the ATF so the documents are likely in the federal court system NOT the Indiana state system, why I didn't find it on first look. He would have been just out of federal prison when he went missing, on probation. I personally don't see him intentionally messing that up, since he's a Dad. I worry more about people in the drug trade he may have associated with or who may have been concerned with what evidence he provided to LE IF he secured an earlier release than the 63 month sentence, IMO anyway.
