I agree Nums24, but this is a fight in the media that Kathi B is fighting.

It was made in the media spotlight, and Mason did a complete turnaround in the media with his walking out of the courtroom with ICA arm in arm.

Is Mason so out of it he doesn't realize his media clips are recorded and preserved? Apparently not. Bless Kathi for stepping up and asking the question. :poke:

The only way he and ICA will be walking out of the courtroom arm in arm is if he is also wearing shackles. And they'll be using the side door, not the entrance. And yup, their "ride" will be waiting for them, escorts and all.

-----------------
I wish they could publish the tape in a newspaper! I think M. is an old man (I'm older) trying to prove he's still "got it" ~ hebetter learn how to speak it.!!
IMO.

Regarding your bold above: Mark Geragos went on tv stating that Scott Peterson was guilty and then later accepted the case as his defense attorney. I guess, in that case, money talked. Well, guess how well that worked out for dear ole Scott? Yep, he's sitting his rear on death row and Mark Geragos still has his sun glasses on and cell phone permanently attached to his ear.

I keep waiting for Geragos to try to get in on KC's defense. He and JB would make a most excellent defense team (insert my very sarcastic tone).

Side note on Geragos-He shortened his name to leave off the very telling "ian" that would identify him as an Armenian (Geragosian)-This maddens my Armenian grandmother to no end, and other than Armenian gangs in Cali, there is no reason to not want to identify with us-Maybe an image thing of some sort, dunno, but my whole family has been mistrusting of him because of that :) Silly, but true...okay, back on topic!

AZLawyer in the legal thread explained that his comments out of court can not be used in court. But I'm grateful for KB's persistence in exposing the defense's flaws!
It should be broadcasted to the high heavens!!!!!!!!!

I vote for Kathi B replacing NG when she starts up her new Swift Justice show.

KB's even better material for the DA's office!

Sorry for the vernacular folks, but I think I am going to p** myself from laughing...Aw Mason. That is quite an oops.

Let's see how long it is before he resigns, like the attorney who stated in open court that they had proof, IIRC, Caylee was alive in August 2008.

At 20 minutes and 10 seconds in this video KB warns Cheney Mason that she is going to inquire about why Cheney Mason himself, when he was an "expert commentator", (prior to becoming part of the "dream team") indicated that Casey was/is guilty and would serve life in prison at the minimum. In response to KB's question Mason acted as if he didn't know what KB is talking about and further he has the complete audacity to blame the press/media! Thoughts??

Yes, but she should have pursued it and said "you gave the interview on this date at this time and you are on record". Should we assume you have "forgotton"? Yes - No? Ohhhh, can we assume you have changed your mind Chithead?

Cheney and Baez are always rude to K. Belich because she has the case down. Cheney gets downright nasty and does intimidate, but one just has to speak louder and be persistent because this azzhole needs to learn some manners. He took this case on to be in the spotlight whether he says that is true or not.

I just wish she had said well you gave an interview and said it looks like life without parole instead of letting him have th elast word.

And Baez' sign is ludicrous. Who does he think he is, Alexander the Great.

You gotta love Kathi! You go girl!

I especially enjoyed his statement:

"It's fair to assume she's going to get life in prison. You can either plead out early or make this a circus of a trial"

Well, I guess we see which way he voted . . . . :bananalama: :Banane10: :Banane57:

I get your point, but really she just let him make a complete fool of himself. You can not buy that kind of tape. I would have just sat back as well.

I so love the fact that Kathi confronted Cheney with this question. I am not surprised he didn't answer though. My opinion of this attorney continues to sink lower and lower. Thank goodness we have Kathi B to ask the questions we all ask here at WS. Thank you Kathi !

kathi b is a goddess. I should send her a lovely christmas card this year.

I am laughing at the "things evaporate" thought. Like Zanny, the Nanny evaporated within an extremely short period of time - allegedly calling Casey and when Casey called her back, the phone had been disconnected

Cheney should be disbarred. He is sexist, cruel and dishonest. Why are people like this allowed to practice law? Why does the ABA allow this? Unbelievable.

BBM-uh-oh I feel a lawyer joke coming on...I will restrain myself. I have met many who are incredible and a few that are, uh, not.

He is also senile imo,
He is an interesting character who pulls the "bumbling" card on occasion...like saying he can't hear too well (which, I know, is a real affliction, but it seems he often "uses" that to his advantage). Also, during the press conference he made little jokes about being "old". I've got him figured to be about 64 or 65. That's not old, but he "uses" his maturity to ingratiate himself. He also really showed his cards early on when he said that he thought the case would "be fun." He's in it just for "the fun!"..because if a toddler is found in the swampy neighborhood of her flozzie mother well, shucks! it's just gawl-dern FUN to shoot holes in that!

Nothing like a big olé bunch of twisted knickers at a press conference. I wonder if he will start wearing depends to them now. Seems like he may need them. Hearing the truth is always sooooo hard on someone.

I just had an image appear in my mind. Cowboy boots and depends reflected in a mirror.....Shudder

I bet that is attractive.

CM "did not remember" saying anything harsh or critical of KC..I think (also) when he said that "things evaporate" he meant that his previous interview (condemning KC) would evaporate--but it hasn't!

I think he meant that his memory evaporates. I think he's forgotten the prior remarks about Casey being found guilty after a circus of a trial. IMO, a lot of his memory cells have evaporated.

After reading this thread and recalling HHJPs many remarks of praise given to Cheney, I am beginning to think, this man really is giving us and the media a performance and he just might be really good come trial. Either that or HHJP is just blowing smoke flattering comments in his direction.

Anyone know how he has actually performed during a trial? I hope R Hornsby can give us an answer.
