In Retrospect-Kronk Believes He Saw Skull In August

Ya know....sometimes things are the way they are because that's the way they are. Yes, if Kronk had gone down to the bag in August and opened it up, Caylee would have been found. Yes, if the Dep had been more thorough in his job, Caylee would have been found in August. These are all hindsights. It played out the way it did because that's the way it happened. It's just like anything else in history. If the Titanic had just smashed the iceberg head on it wouldn't have sunk. Very true, but then no one but ship buffs would know about the Titanic. It is what it is because that's the way it happened. KWIM?

The sad part is that Kronk new this circus was going to happen. He knew that if it was Caylee that he would be drawn into this media circus, his life dissected, every nook and cranny of his past looked into, a total disruption of his life. He knew it was going to turn into this and still stuck to it. Put yourself in his shoe's. Would you have kept going back?

Kronk was the one to find her simply because he was in the right place. Who's to say how many other calls were made to OCSO re: garbage bags on the side of the road. Maybe there was a guy named "Krunk" that called LE 3 times in August about a black trash bag on the side of a road by the airport. He had a strong hunch that it was Caylee, LE would never get back to him, he goes back a month later sure that LE hasn't done their job, opens the bag and finds.....trash! So sorry for "Krunk" he was not the one to find Caylee.

Give this guy a break. He did the right thing and he's being rewarded by having to lawyer up, explain every little detail of his life, explain every step and thought process he's had since August 11th and get prepared to get thrown under the Anthony bus by the defense. I'm sure their next revelation about Kronk is that when he was eight years old, he used to light ants on fire with a magnafying glass showing his predisposition to being a serial killer. Lord forbid they ever find out he used to shoot at squirrels with a BB gun as a kid cause then they'll claim he shot some squirrels and plastered them under KC's car and that's where the decomp smell came from.

I think this guy deserves a medal for stepping into the media "line of fire". I don't know if I'd have the guts.

Ya know, some of us have hinky meters going off, some of us don’t. I seem to go back and forth, depending on what talking head I have listened to that day. (or which good theory I read on WS :crazy What I do know is that if LE were on the television every single day, explaining their version of the RK discovery, I would tend to believe them.

So....the hinky version which somehow involves the A camp:

August - KC out on bond. She tells “someone” what happened and where the body is dumped. “Someone” somehow gets a tip to the local ex bounty hunter/meter reader who goes to investigate. Calls cops, nothing.

November - PI’s decide to go themselves to find the body (from the information “someone” gave them). Maybe they did find something. Maybe not.

December - ex bounty hunter/meter reader is told to go back to site and find the body. Which he did.

HOW DOES THIS HELP OR HURT THE DEFENSE? We all know the prosecution wouldn’t be taking part in any shenanigans. If they found the body, by God they would let everyone know because that was the piece of the puzzle that was missing for them.

SO...if anything untoward is in fact going on between the other “players”.......WHY? I wish someone would throw a theory out that would show just exactly HOW THAT WOULD HELP THE DEFENSE????

Trying to understand what you're saying. Do you mean that nobody, not JB, DC, RK, or anyone, would have any interest in locating the remains and tampering with them? There's no daisy chain, no tipping off RK? If so, I agree.

WESH is now reporting that RK believes he actually saw the skull on August 11... thus his fixation on that particular bag. And I think you're right... he put his experience to work on the case and went snooping around those woods on the off-chance he would come across something... and he did.

I also think LP knows some details he's not letting out. (Tricks of the Trade) Think of it, we now have 2 Bounty Hunters in the picture, one garnering national attention & the other one working quietly behind the scenes. There's more than meets the eye here!

I'm not bashing Mr. Kronk, it's just that his previous employment adds quite a twist to the ever-evolving cast of characters! There will most definitely be a Movie, before this is all done & it won't be on E!

I read somewhere that Kronks wife passed away not too long ago. I think it said from Cancer. It also said that Kronk spent his life savings trying to save her and pay for her medical care. Maybe he was out looking for Caylee so he could collect the reward. It did say he was in a bad financial situation and lost everything due to his wife and needed to somehow get back on his feet. that's another reason they were trying to get him some reward money. I don't think Kronk was involved in Caylee's death. Why would he call the police a zillion times if he was?

I'm not making excuses for RK, but I think he was sincere in that first 911 call and all that followed. He sounded unsure of himself. Maybe after getting dissed by LE, he had more reason to doubt what he thought he saw. Now he's thinking, "I knew it!!" We ask why he didn't report it non-stop, but how about what he was thinking.. "jeez, I reported this three times and cops haven't even done a blow-out search? I must have been seeing things!!" IMO, RK has more reasons to doubt LE than we have to doubt RK.

I agree with you. I also like to believe that his wife might have been the one to lead him to Caylee. JMO

OMG!! That's a good point. My Mother has passed and I know she's helped me out many times.

The utility workers are not permitted to return to their dispatch center until 2:30. It doesn't matter when you complete your work, you are required to stay in the area in which you are working until your work day is complete.

Don't ask me why, but I verified this.

MRs could be done reading meters at 10:30 AM but they are not permitted to return until after 2:30.

Their computers do have GPS so the managers can track where they are and how long they are there.

It's the rules- they did not steal an hour. They have no choice but to sit around until they are permitted to return.

Strange philosophy but true.

JB, he offered the money a few weeks ago- I think RK had to make sure there was no conflict of interest with his city job with taking the money.

Check was presented to him today.
