Body found in Stark County believed to be missing Lafayette man

STARK COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A deceased male found in a truck in Starke County is believed to be the missing person Richard L. Higley II from Lafayette.

STARK COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A deceased male found in a truck in Starke County is believed to be the missing person Richard L. Higley II from Lafayette.

According to a released statement for the Lafayette Police Department, around 10 a.m. Friday morning the Starke County Sheriff’s Department located a red Chevrolet S10 pickup truck with deceased male inside.


Police said confirmation of the identification of the deceased and the cause of death will be released by the Starke County Coroner’s Office at a later time.
