*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 9am ET) – IN - Cairo Ammar Jordan (5) was found about 7:30pm Saturday night, April 16, 2022 by a mushroom hunter in the heavily wooded area of Washington County off a dead-end road, 80 ft. from a roadway inside a suitcase with a distinctive Las Vegas design on the front & back near the town of New Pekin. May have died within the last week. He was identified on October 26, 2022. He would have turned 6 on 10/23/22. – *DeJaune Ludie Anderson (37/now 40) "mom" has warrant (10/14/22) out for her arrest for neglect of a dependent resulting in death & obstruction of justice. A subsequent murder warrant was issued on 10/25/22. Has not been located as of 4/14/23. Arrested (3/14/24 in L.A. & extradited back to IN. on 3/31/24), charged (3/15/24) & arraigned (4/2/24) with murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death & obstruction of justice. Held without bond. Found competent to stand trial on 2/5/25. Washington County
Trial set to begin on 1/6/26.
