Did anyone here ever figure out how Jared and Russell Taylor originally met? I find it highly unlikely Jared just happened to start a CHILDREN'S foundation and just happened to hire a director who is not only into child , but secretly films his own kids. Such kismet! :waiting:

This is just a hunch, not based on anything I've read about the case....

I'm guessing that Jerod was into teenage girls and that's who he solicited for his own sexual pleasure. I'm thinking that the images of the much-younger kids was for sharing or selling. He has a past of making money from distributing (the video business he had in college) and perhaps the images of children filled his desire for money and perhaps he got pleasure in exploiting both the victims and the buyers.

I think he got off on being the "aw shucks, I lost weight on Subway" every-man hero while at the same time having dirty, secret side businesses. The images of the young kids was part of his dirty double life, while when he actually wanted sex on the side, he wanted a teen, imo.

I suppose it doesn't really matter. The bottom line is he victimized people.

Respectfully, Jared's net worth is 15 million dollars. I really don't believe he looked at child of 6 year olds as an 'easy' way to earn money. And, he wasn't charged with distributing, I don't believe. So it seems he acquired it for personal use. Also, if he got it from Russell Taylor, I don't buy that he couldn't control what was sent to/given to him. He was his boss. He kept what was sent to him. Why keep it if it's repugnant to him. When it could incriminate him.

Because to non-pedophiles, that stuff is vomit inducing repugnant. I would set my laptop on fire if that were ever sent to me. Okay, I'd report it to the FBI, but Jared could have torched that computer, the thumb drives, and streamlined his requests to be exclusively Lolita-esque, if that's all he was into.

I can imagine Jared would prefer everyone think he's only into post-pubescent Lolita-esque girls, and not 6 year olds or 9 year olds. Some find that idea more 'acceptable'.

Some, I imagine, found it impossible to believe that dude who seemed so nice and dweeby could possibly be involved in child at all. I think it's likely to be common to want to believe that the youngest he desired was post-pubescent 15, 16, 17 year olds.

While it is possible that his main interest was in teenage girls , although minors, I have a theory when it comes to child and pedophiles in general. It's very GW Bush and it goes like this. " You're either with us or you're against us''. A person who finds it appropriate to buy , sell, transport images of 6 yr old children does not FIND the idea as disturbing as the rest of us. There is just no middle ground. You're either ANTI child or you are not and if all of the images and his victims were 16 yrs old, I'd find that theory a little more plausible but you do not make money off of 6 yr old nude photos while being ADAMENTLY anti child . I just cannot connect the two. Fogle is not ' with us'. He's against us. He's a monster . It's moo and apparently it's true.

As for Jared, The fact that they left him there and that he was not arrested bodes well. Everyone I know whose home was raided for child , Was taken into custody immediately.

I was thinking along the lines of Indonesia's involvement in human (child) sex trafficking. There are people who travel there for this very reason. It turns my stomach. I'm curious if Jared has any history of travelling there.

I'm not sure why but for some reason it seems extra repulsive he watched videos of his friend's children like this. I suspect he was doing more than just "watching." What must it have been like if he spent time with those kids in a social setting? Did he look at them and... ugh. I can barely think about it.

customer, I mean every week, at my restaurant for years, this was beginning right when he was starting the foundation. And to get home here in BTown, I would pass the subway he lived above every day.
He gave off creepy vibes. When I said that, people would actually diss me, it was like I was saying Santa was a **** or Mother Teresa was a ho. And why? Guy's claim to fame was losing weight, big whoop!

I'm not saying it rudely, I am being genuine, because
people like Jared, and the Duggars, sometimes receive some sort of special consideration and it takes a long time for people to come around to their guilt. IMO.

Although the Duggars haven't AS YET been linked to child ; they are friends with, associate with, and have utilized the counsel of a known child pornographer
and to actually deal with the problematic sexuality, IOW incest, of their minor children. By putting their children at risk by allowing a pervert to be privy to these offences they have basically and simply participated in real time, not filmed, child , IMO. Of course they would never see it that way. Oh no.

And so we have Jared, just like the Duggars working himself into a brand, getting into children big time,
making everyone think he's something special, rakes in the cash and then disappoints everyone by hurting those children.
