Police searching for missing 2-year-old boy in Southern Indiana

The Clark County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 2-year-old child missing from the Borden area, according to Captain Scottie Maples.

"A parent reported last seeing the child playing near a creek."*

Doesn't seem as if LE is asking for the public's help at this time. They may, but this is all so new they may not have had time to worry about releasing the details to the public or asking for people to be on the lookout.

Seems as if k-9, copters and divers were all put into play very quickly tho and that is good. It would also be helpful to know exactly WHERE this little fella was last seen so we could get one of our excellent mappers in here.

Would not a person who sees a 2yr old near a creek keep an eye on the child the whole time they are making a wild mad dash to get between the child and the creek and then bring the kidlet to safety?

Well, maybe the adult tried. Who knows. The article is very brief.

not enough info to really go on as to the circumstances of the creek situation. I just read an article about the one year anniversary of little Noah Chamberlin's body being found. I remember how critical some were of grandma and the story of how very quickly Noah was right there with her and his sissy one moment and the next gone.

I am really hoping that this story ends differently.

According to police, 2-year-old William G. Roberts was last seen playing near a creek.

William was last seen wearing a grey Gap logo t-shirt and blue jeans.
