Inconstistencies....or shall I rather call it "busted"?

I've said it a million times, but it bears repeating:

This case is often referred to as a miscarriage of justice. It wasn't a miscarriage; it was an abortion.

Absolutely!

It was stated that there were no fingerprints found on the ransom note, but John Ramsey claimed he 'spread it out' to read it. How could there have been no fingerprints on it if he touched it?

That bothers me and always has.

JMO

If I were Lin Wood I would have told them to say "well,we didn't touch it becuase it's evidence and we didn't wanna contaminate it" but they never said that right. What they came up with was really stupid,we just glanced,it was on the floor,I didn't pick it up I just read it while it was on the stairs, blah. How on earth did they hand it over to French if they never touched it.At same point if I recall correctly he doesn't even remember THAT anymore (handing it over to French)....and Fernie reading it through the door while it was on the floor.....well Fernie arrived after French, correct? If the first thing that JR did was handing French the note then how come was it on the floor so Fernie can read it through the door?
Everybody lies.Sometimes I wonder whether most of the officers who were there that morning don't lie as well (to favour the Ramsey's).God knows what ELSE Eller instructed them to do or NOT.And you wonder that the crime scene was contaminated and so on.This case was botched before anyone even had a chance to start investigating it.

I don't get FW's behaviour and actions.
I don't get Fernie's story re the RN. (big fat lie like I showed before)
I don't get the Stine's behaviour.

What is it about this friends.
What do they know? What are they hiding. Why are they upset or extremely supportive.
There are still lots of people who could talk and enlighten the cops.Maybe they did but we've never seen their interviews.
Why was FW so angry, why all the letters but on the other hand he doesn't remember anything about that morning(yeah right) and says the R's were good people.

Btw,those of you who think they were indeed very religious people,do you think they ever confessed to a priest?I know that priest won't ever talk about a confession and can't be forced to but I was amazed by how quickly the reverend asked if he needed a lawyer.

If there was "intruder" DNA on the doll, we would have heard about it, John Ramsey would have made sure we did.

Unless the new team investigating it has decided to leave him out of the loop.
Too many leaks in the past, unable to pinpoint exactly whose loose lips were trying to sink the ship. They are not required to provide him with info they deem important. The only ones privy to any new info would be people the DA CAN DO something about if info is leaked. I'm sure they all have been warned.

This is an all new investigation and the investigators want to make sure none of the evidence is compromised.

Who is to say maybe someone else's DNA was on the doll.

To those who think Burke did it what would they say if his DNA is found in lets say a compromising place on the doll?

If JR's or P's found?

P- would be the most explainable as we can all envision that a mother might play dolls with her daughter. Helping her to learn how to dress the doll or button those tiny buttons. But this doll looks new?

If the same DNA found on her long johns, panties and doll match could it be a fluke or contamination?
What if the doll DNA was a traditional DNA test and not the touch kind?
All the test results have the same unknown male profile.
Would that be convincing and could it be called a true indicator an IDI.

From my understanding BPD and the DA's office is playing the investigation close to the vest this time. Koldkase was able to point out a piece of evidence that had been hidden from us. The doll.

Since the new investigation is playing it close I wonder why they confirmed to the Globe or rather unknown sources confirmed the doll was at the scene. Unnamed sources also say the doll is a direct link to the killer.

To me this is highly questionable as look at the source. We all know how much damage TMWI is ,as in this case, it causes confusion and following false leads.
I am going to assume the only info in that article that can be confirmed is that a doll was with JBR at the time of her death.

The doll contains important clues.

Maybe they never thought to test DNA or even to look for it in related items to the doll. I noticed the doll or what we all think the doll is, a Holiday Barbie.

Was this doll new? What year Holiday Barbie?
Was the box nearby too? We saw some shiny material around the doll, what was it?
The article stated it was her favorite doll. Fav. she just got, or for all time. Kids fav. toys usually are worn out with love. That doll didn't look played with.

I saw an episode of one of those kid pageant shows where the kid wanted to be Barbie for her I think talent or some other category. The parents made her a Barbie box and all.

New dolls, not just Barbie's are tied into the boxes. Around their necks.
It is just creepy if not coincidental.

Mary Lacy would have screamed out loud if so.IMO
or do you mean maybe they tested the doll(IF there's a doll) now?

If this doll thing was another police leak then I guess things and Beckner didn't change much so it's gotta be something that points to RDI and not an intruder.(you can't annoy JR&LW with something that has intruder dna on it)
LW said that Beckner is vengeful re JR.
So what is it about this alledged doll that might make JR freak out, that's the question.

That photo of the Rs with their friends shows them doing just what BR said he wanted to do- "just get on with my life". And they certainly did.
Of course, BR said this DAYS after his sister's murder. Now THAT is disturbing.

My child mourned longer for the death of a pet at age 4 than Burke for his own sister. He lost his grandfather, my dad...his partner in crime at age 7, he was DEVESTATED for weeks.

The first I had ever even heard about the doll/dolls was in Trisha's interview with Levi.

I don't see a doll in the photograph, sorry, I just don't....I also can't see any blood on the pink nightgown.

I think The GLOBE simply read here, and ran with it. Anything to sell papers.

The doll is not evidence to me because I don't even know if it exists. If it does exist and that indeed, is the doll in the picture, so what? It's not "new evidence" to LE and it certainly won't solve the case. imo

I always felt that BR heard this from his parents. "let's forget this ever happend and just get on with our lives" - and he was repeating what he heard his parents say. It is not a far stretch to imagine that if there are parents who able to stage and cover up such a crime without remorse, then their offspring would carry the same genetic indifference. JB may very well still be indifferent. MO

But he's old enough now to question that,he's old enough now to realize that a normal innocent parent wouldn't say that.Is he just a coward or is he involved somehow.
I remember something now that I found pretty odd.IIRC it was on his facebook page.In the favourite books section he wrote "I don't read books" or something....what person says that ,only someone ignorant, uneducated.Or maybe it was meant more like hey don't ask me what I think about the books about my sister's murder?Don't ask me what I think about DOI.Did he even read THAT book?

Catholics tell priests their sins in confession for the sacrament of Penance. The Rs were Protestant. They may have spoken to their pastor(s) or clergy in their own church, but it is not strictly "confession".

I don't understand the behavior of all those people either. But I do understand THIS- They all KNOW something. And they are all afraid of being sued by LW. That's pretty much it.

The biggest inconsistency is that there is a ransom note and a dead body in the same house.

He shouts, "Call the Police!"

"Are you sure?".

"Yes. Call them!"

How long was the picture of the dolls available to Trisha? Was the picture always there and did not notice the dolls?

I know Patsy did ask about a doll during questioning in 1998.

Kold Kase was recently referred to in an article in the Globe about the doll. It was present in a crime scene photo and no one had ever discussed it before.
Kold Kase noticed it and brought it to our attention.

When Tricia mentioned the doll(s) in her interview with Levi Page, KoldKase went looking at all the available photos to see if she could spot any dolls. That's when she found it. Tricia told me that she had thought we all knew about the dolls and didn't realize she was dropping a bombshell that night.
