India - 8-year-old girl raped by 11-year-old boy

A 8-yeae-old girl was raped in the toilet of a goverment school in India by an 11-year-old boy (and possibly by his two younger brothers!). Then when her family reported the crime, the head of the village police tried to facilitate a 'compromise' to keep quiet, and get the girl's family to drop charges! Thankfully a higher regional police superintendent is getting involved, and the local police officer has been removed. Let's hope this case gets a conviction, even if only 1 in 4 cases of the 30,000 rapes in 2016 got one. It's not safe to be a woman, nor a young girl in India.
