Injured Baby Zebra Found Along Interstate Near Atlanta

There is the Wild Animal Safari near Calloway Gardens in south Georgia. They have zebras. Surely someone somewhere was expecting him!

Actually Wild Animal Safari is in Pine Mountain , Ga which is between Lagrange and Columbus. It is in west central Ga right across the state line from me. It is an awesome place. We take our kids there every summer. It is very well maintained and I am sure this zebra did not come from there. It is about 90 miles south of ATL but it is kind of out in the middle of no where. I think this little guy was illegally obtained . I am so glad he is being taken care of . AU has the best vets anywhere in the south! Maybe we can add a third mascot along with our tiger and eagle. BTW if you guys ever are near Pine Mountain or go to Calloway you should check out Wild Animal Safari.

I love that place (Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain) - me and a bunch of friends took DH there for his 30th birthday....a decade ago! I keep meaning to get back there with my kids.

The best time to go is first thing in the morning when the animals are nice and hungry so they will come to your window and eat. The last time we went my youngest got a t shirt that says I got slobbered . It is his favorite shirt!LOL

You got that right. :D I keep thinking this little guy is like 10 miles from me. I'd love to go see him but I know he's not for exhibition.

Bamabeauty, where are you? PM me. Sounds like we're neighbors!!

OMG, what is going on in Atlanta? Are Zebra's just falling out of the sky? I'm glad that he not hurt, funny no one claimed him. I think if my zebra was missing I would know it.
