Insanity!

If we could define a perp, and what they are going to do in any given situation, they would be a lot easier to catch, and there wouldn't be so many unsolved cases. Perps are well known for creating puzzles, that they know may eventually be solved, so that they do get caught

We all know that there have been many cases of false confessions but there have also been many cases of false alibi's.

In the case of Jaqualyn Dawoloby her uncle had several people (low lifes) all provide alibi's for him. Years later it turned out they had lied. Even worse they knew that an innocent man was in prison because of their lies.

The wife has a very good reason for lying. Either by accident or on purpose.
Would you want to admit your 3 son's are fathered by a killer?
Its very possible she simply has her dates wrong or in her shock and horror her mind has made her believe it can't be true.

As for Nate.. He wasn't even born yet by the time Mr Karr divorced and having won custody sent John to his grandparents. Karr was 12 by then so IMO Nate being soo much younger hardly knows his brother. Also being sat least 12 years younger (most likely more)
He would have been 18 or 19 when JBR was Killed. Most 18 or 19 (if he was even that old) Are observant of details.

Like BTK....he went in victim's homes and lay in wait, then would send clues/puzzles to LE

Also could be said about the Ramsey's....why would they compose a three page note....and potentially reveal themselves?...all they would have to write is "We have your daughter. Wait for our call. Get $2 million dollars ready"

I've said this many times over the years, but here it is again - there aren't any rules that must be followed for writing ransom notes. There is no certification for the correct way to write a ransom note. It is entirely up to the kidnapper.

As far as the three page ransom note being too long and too dangerous because it might reveal too much about the author, the ransom note in this case completely disproves that theory. Right now, no one except the author knows who wrote the ransom note. A lot of people think they know, but I'm sure that would be the case if the note was only 10 words long.

He is going to have to update that statement. He has seen one now.Although it is nonsensical, I'm pretty certain that note was written by the perp.

I am telling you this is the kind of stuff that gives me with willies  . This guy is scary, its like I get an evil feeling just looking at him.... It is like he has an "evilness" that just comes from him, if that is possible. Which I think it is.
couldnt agree more- he personifies it..here is one beast who belongs in People of the Lie.
It is the weirdest thing I can think of as to why he isnt in cuffs..he was a flight risk wasn't he. I havent known anyone to be arrested and not cuffed. (I mean for anything like this).

This just gets weirder and weirder.

I agree, there is always a curve ball in every theory..the other thing I dont accept is why would the Ramseys rattle on that long. They are not stupid.
Why not say..we have your daughter, wait for further instructions. Do not call the police or any other law officials if you want to see your daughter again. Prepare to drop 118, 000.00 in exchange for her safe recovery. (and I would ask for a hell of a lot more than this too-and never for an odd figure like 118,000.00).

Why would educated people rattle on. (I mean informed educated..who would make up a ransom note and have it be long if you are trying to cover up a murder). I would write as little as possible.

Also that ransom note sounds like this pervert. He talks alot and freely. He makes no sense..neither did the note. He speaks in a convoluted way.

We would think the emails would be more than Karr just demonstrating that he knew a lot about the case. There are a lot of people on these forums that know a lot about the case. For an arrest, and extradition, Karr had to have divulged enough, not released distinctions about the crime scene, that took it beyond normal suspicion (at least we would think so).

True Buzz, an arrest warrant in a high-profile case is going to require probative evidence beyond public domain knowledge.

Here's Insanity:

Before takeoff, Karr took a glass of champagne from a flight attendant and clinked glasses with Spray, who sipped orange juice.

Dinner on board, served on a starched white tablecloth, was one many passengers would envy. Karr started with a pate, then had a green salad with walnut dressing. The main course was fried king prawn with steamed rice and broccoli. Karr drank a beer, crushing the can with his hands when it was empty, then moved on to a glass of French chardonnay with his main course.

The suspect was relaxed, smiling and chatting nonstop with the U.S. officials next to him — until the television news crews on the flight turned their cameras on. Then he stopped smiling, clutched the armrests of his seat and stared at his lap.

Yes that is true. But Boulder is very liberal, and this confession might not meet their standards at the DA's office. It certainly doesn't meet my standards as a confession, especially since he said something like, "things aren't as they seem" at the end of his interview with AP.

He said he was in the basement, but not which basement. He said he was with JonBenet when she died, which could mean something else entirely to an individual with mental problems. He said he wasn't innocent, which could mean anything. But, he said no comment to all questions about the actual murder or entering the house.

I have a feeling he is going to end up saying his statements were coerced by the Thai police, who have already admitted to dealing off the bottom of the deck. He may not say anything else after he gets to the U.S., although I think enough would come out through research of his life to show whether he did it or not.

He did have a Jaguar in 1997, and a Jaguar was seen in the neighborhood around the time of the murder. So, there is still hope he's the guy, but not much really, at this point.
Boulder is a wealthy community, I am sure there are quite a few Jaguars there..especially in the neighborhood the Ramseys lived in

Fox reported that a newspaper had hired a handwriting expert, and they said that Karr's handwriting matches the ransom note.
I had hopes the the handwriting would help solve this but I think we will see ten questioned document experts say the hand writing is his and ten say it isn't :banghead:

Saw pictures of Karr in what looked to be the airport. Was with the same guy as before, obviously his 'minder'. He seemed pretty friendly with the 2 guys. Wondering if these guys are just standard immigration people or special ICE guys. Either way they all have to be 'nice' to him. Karr has something they want and he will be treated like gold until they get it . One way or another.
