I guess we've all gone around in circles about whether the twins are alive or dead, or whether or not there was an accomplice. But this is the second time
(first time actually, just happens that some newspapers published more phrases than others, and today I found these two articles that contain a bit more) that Matthias has said he killed the girls Alessia and Livia, and I believe him.
It is clear that this event was well planned. Nothing seems spur of the moment.
(Agree, everything seems to have a hidden meaning...obviously it was intended for Irina, though some things have already been explained in the FB group)
The trip to Marseilles, the letters, the money sent to Irina, the boat to Corsica, the return to the family vacation spot as a place to leave the girls forever,
(from what I read on FB, seems Irina mentioned the girls were 'conceived' in Corsica and something else, but I think I wont post that here) the boat back to Italy,
(hmm, nope there was no boat back to Italy. The return trip to France you mean? He took a ferry back to Toulon, then DROVE all the way to Cerignola, Italy, via Napoli) and on to the place where Matthias died by throwing himself in front of a train.
(this is a puzzler, why chose that region? There has been some specultation that might be the place where they met, and that what he was doing was kind of 'rewinding' his life, up to that point (yet to be confirmed, just an hypothesis for now).
It has been said again and again that he returned to Italy alone. He was seen in Naples
alone, and again in Cernigola
alone. Though he might appear to be playing some game with his wife's emotions, I think he has been honest all along in saying the twins are dead and he killed them.
(I so hope you are wrong truthsleuth
though I know deep in my heart this is the most likely scenario
)
We may never understand why he sent money in many envelopes to Irina,
(there has been an explanation for that already...something along the lines that they used to fight about big withdrawals/expenses whenever they went grocery/shopping) or why he included the twins in his will (testament) if he planned to kill them. We will probably always have questions concerning choices he made. But his choice to kill the girls now seems part of his plan from the moment he took them, and I do believe they are gone forever.
They were lovely little girls who deserved a full life, and their father selfishly robbed them of that and robbed the world of what they could have contributed to it. This is such a sad story and I pray I do not encounter another one like it any time soon.
(AMEN) May the girls rest in peace.
