Hi everyone,
I had been lurking in the YT live chats and decided to participate this evening. I’m glad I did, it’s a lively space with welcoming people.
I first got into true crime in 2018 when I discovered the Lynette Joy Simms (Dawson) case and became very invested in seeing justice brought to Lyn and her body found. At least one of those two things has been accomplished. I hope she is found one day.
I have a question on a trial-adjacent topic: critical thinking. This is one significant reason I started watching trials and following cases again after a long break. I consider my own critical thinking skills to be rather lacking. I would like to know how to improve critical thinking skills without taking courses (not financially feasible for me right now) - are there any good books or other resources anyone could recommend?
Looking forward to the next live.
