29-year-old Brian Whelan and 36-year-old TJ Herlihy have died in a truly heartbreaking accident in Limerick, Ireland. The men were working on Thomand Bridge Saturday when the cage they were in plunged into the River Shannon. It's believed the safety harnesses they were wearing trapped them underwater in the cage.

Both men were pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital. A third worker involved in the accident escaped serious injury. An investigation is underway.
