Ireland - Tina Satchwell, 45, Youghal, Co. Cork, 20 March 2017 *arrest*

After reading through the court reports, I've learned he's from where I live. My son went to school with a Satchwell.
Small world.

I used to live on the Leics/Derbs/Notts border - I tweeted Paul Healy to correct him - I guess he misheard Coalville as Coville, easily done! I know a Satchwell, too (but not from that area.) Not a common name I wouldn't have thought, only met one in my long and busy life!

Was there a reason he didn't clean up? IMO he just wants to portray Tina badly and make out he's a victim of some sort.

RS is really giving the I'm the victim here vibes . Really dragging Tina's character through the mud . Shame on him . I highly doubt he was a victim of DV . Using his own disgusting words e said referring that she loved herself too much to harm herself, well more like rs here was the selfish one in that relationship , the one that narcissisticly cared more about his own feelings to allow tina to walk away and be happy without him . It was a case of well if I can't continue to own you well nobody will have you . Even in death he disrespect her with the character assassination. Hope he rots

Seems clear the prosecution is showing all RS's media interviews to let the jury see what an accomplished liar he is. Smart move.

I remember those interviews and at the time thinking he was lying through his teeth, over acting, trying to ruin Tina's name and make himself out to be some sort of heroic victim. JMO.

Just caught up with the trial now. I’m starting to think he killed her over the expense of the monkeys, it sounds like they got scammed.

I think she was going to leave him. The monkeys were maybe a last ditch attempt to save the marriage. But yes, definitely does sound like they were being scammed, too.

Hearing the contents of some of the emails from the monkey people, it absolutely sounds like a classic scam. I've searched for the organisation mentioned and can't find anything, has anyone got better GoogleFu than I?

This is the Irish way of saying "Don't come here ever again." Upsetting the kids was an excuse. JMO
