Is JB qualified to represent someone accused of murder?

I am going to hold my opinion until the trial.
I am disturbed by his constant touching of his client, and allowing himself to be a Cindy courier for the bracelet.

I read on the Orange County site that on July 17 that KC filed a notice of insolvancy; the Court appointed an attorney, and JB filed notice of appearance. Does that, then, mean that JB actually IS a court-appointed attorney in this case?
