is the anthonys' support of casey all a big front at the request of LE?

do you think it's possible that all of the anthonys are working with LE and putting on a big show to make casey believe they are behind her in case she isn't convicted and placed back into their family? or in hopes that casey will finally tell one of them, they need to keep saying they believe her?

it just seems so obvious to me that they know, and that they really don't believe her to the point that it seems impossible that they do believe her.

they don't show any support for casey other than in public, it seems, and they pretty abruptly stopped showing up on camera after caylee was found--no appeals for a real killer, no asking for support for themselves and casey. they don't visit (i know that's been discussed before) and therefore have no desire to see her or she them, and what supportive family does that?

when it comes down to it, they are so far more worried about what the public thinks than that what they would be more concerned with if they truly believed in casey. and really, what does it matter what we think?

maybe unlikely, i don't know. but some signs seem to point in the direction of the anthonys putting on a big old front, and it's almost obvious in the way they delivered support so publicly, and now deliver just enough support to casey so she believes them, without going overboard.

Laece,

I'd really like to believe that maybe they are no longer in denial about KC being innocent and are just seeing this through and see what happens in the courts, for in the rare chance she would be released and came home.

However, I really don't think so. the reason being, I have had some lengthy debates with a few people, who, after seeing all the evidence and everything we know, believe KC is innocent. Yes, it's true. And I mean they say INNOCENT, not just she'll be found not guilty. So, I just think, if a complete outsider can believe KC is innocent, than certainly CA and GA who have showed so much denial, can certainly still feel that way too.

I don't think they truly believe she killed Caylee still to this day. I think they KNOW she was negligent and was the reason someone else killed her. I sincerely don't see the disgust or the anger at KC in their faces, they would have if they thought she, in fact, really did murder their grand daughter.

JMO though. So who knows what they think anymore.

It think that initially their support was at LE's request. I feel LE thought that if the family showed KC support and showed they believed her "Zanny story" they all hoped that KC would confide in one of them as to Caylees whereabouts. After the arrest and murder charge I think GA & CA "freaked" realizing the potential for life in prison or the death penalty for their daughter and then their support was real. I do not for one moment believe that any family members truly thought KC was telling the truth about Caylee being kidnapped. Their reaction when the car was found and the smell in it truly reflected what they thought had happened to Caylee. Their public statements at the time did not reflect what they actually believed IMO.

Is the A's support of KC a front at the request of LE?

No way in heck are the A's cooperating with LE in any manner. The A's support of KC is for the benefit of the A's only and everybody else can be dam##ed. The A's are united, just as Lee said, in their support of the demon who murdered their granddaughter and niece. They will never move from that position.

The A's are certainly not cooperating with LE. I think they cooperated to an extent, at first, but never fully. I believe they realized how horrific the situation really was and fully embraced denial. While I believe them to be a very tragically dysfunctional bunch, I also wouldn't want to know how they feel first hand. I can't really imagine what would be worse than suspecting/knowing that your child murdered your grandchild. As someone pointed out there are stages to grieving and they've got a full helpings of it on many levels.
I vacillate back and forth between how much they know or think they know. Most of the time I'm convinced they believe it was a horrible accident and that is how they continue. How many of us would look at our children/friends/family members that we've known all of their lives or all of ours, and consider them capable of what she did. And how many of us could really say what we would do in that situation? I think I wouldn't lie and that I would cooperate with LE, but thankfully I'm not facing the possibility of my child being sentenced to a possible death/life sentence either. As far as the A's "putting on the public face" I can only say that most of us would probably not hang our children out to dry in the glare of the media and possibly hurt their case, even if we thought she was guilty and were cooperating with LE. I think either their doubt or their knowledge kept them from doing certain things in the public eye, i.e. - filing for immediate custody, pleading for the child's return, etc.,
I also believe the reason the jailhouse visits stopped was due to JB et all advising her to stop as she was just providing press fodder, which doesn't help her case. Although initially it may have been due to her blow up at her parents (?) Can't remember the time line - but isn't that when the visits stopped?
Now that I've typed all of this I'm leaning back towards the other way......even so - they do have my sympathy - I wouldn't wish their nightmare on anyone.
Just my 2 cents.
