Is this for real? Brad and Angelina break up for good.

Here's a story I wish to share with you all. My BF works in the film industry and hung out with Brad Pitt in Montana during shooting of 'A River Runs Through It. Brad Pitt was a rising star who had just starred in Thelma and Louise. One day they were at a rodeo and a pretty girl approached them asking "Are you Brad Pitt, the guy in Thelma and Louise?" Brad: "yes" Girl: "Oh may I have your autograph, will you pose for a pic?"

BP happily obliged. Pretty girl hands her camera to a man to snap the pic. She was very polite and grateful and beautiful and said goodbye. My Bf and BP oggled her as she walked away hand in hand with the man who snapped the pic. The young man turned and looked back at bf and BP as they walked away. BP & bf quickly turned away and BP said: "I can't believe that guy just caught us checking out his gf!" My bf's reply: "For some reason I don't think he really minds too much."

LOL! Such a cute story! My bf's opinion of BP? He's a very down to earth and nice guy who was very humble and shy about his sudden fame.
He is fun to hang out with, laid back and a class act who appeared on time and ready to work each day.

I've never understood why Brad betrayed Jen for Angilipa. But there are alot of temptations for movie stars, not to mention the time spent away from home during shooting which makes it easy to cheat and difficult to cultivate a marriage/relationship. Brad and Angie both seem to be dedicated parents and honestly, the kids are probably so accustomed to one or other parent being away that it may not be such an adjustment for them as we might imagine.

Are they married? When did they get married? I've always been under the impression they were a couple but had never officially tied the knott. He may have gotten a look at Jennifer at the award show last week (black dress) and thought :waitasec:. Seriously though, all those children and splitsville - not such a good thing. waltzingmatilda - thank goodness, I thought you were going to say that BP is gay! That would have shocked the you know what out of me. I've always liked him based on his interviews. When I thought about him and Jen splitting up, I concluded it was because he wanted children and maybe she didn't at the time (or ever?). Then he met Angie who was eager for a family and the rest is history.

You are right woe! They are not married. My bad. I should have typed '"cultivate a relationship".

Michael K. on dlisted.com refers to BP as Billy Goat Brad now that he is sporting that hideous beard, LOL! a good nickname IMO.

Actually, I think if we had to place bets on which of the two of them would cheat first, I'd have to put my money on Angelina.

(I happen to like both of them by the way, I'm just speculating here).

I think Brad has more 'traditional' values than Angelina- and she just made that strange comment a couple of weeks ago... something to the effect of she doesn't think cheating is necessarily bad for a relationship, and that just because she and Brad live together doesn't mean they are chained together' (something like that- I'll try to find the exact quote in a minute, if someone else doesn't post it first).

I can just see Angelina getting bored with Brad before Brad would get bored with her.

In other words, I think he is more 'into' her, than she is 'into' him.

That's just my take on the situation. I admire both of them for their love and devotion to their children, and seemingly, to all the children of the world.

This post just jogged my memory about something. One time when BP and JA were being interviewed together, BP said that he and JA may not be together forever. JA had kind of a sheepish look on her face when he said that and I thought "what a strange thing for him to say on national TV". It's hard for me to imagine being so practical about issues of the heart. Maybe he does have trouble with commitment. Who knows.

From what I've read BP and AJ have a very liberal way of thinking as far as relationships go, once I read that he stated (and this was about JA) that as long as the relationship was working it was fine to stay together but if it faltered it was ok to split and go your seperate ways, no big deal (and I am paraphrasing). So these people do not believe in forever. I never thought much of AJ as far as being a faithful wife and a good mother, I really do not think she has a maternal bone in her body, she is one person I feel that should have stuck to her career, stayed single and just adopt a cat for companionship to satisfy whatever maternal instinct she needed to satifsfy. It's easy to have all those kids when you have money, I'm willing to bet there's several nanny's on their payroll hidden away from the media. She never appeared as being very stable to me and I always felt the "child army" was for show. When I think of her I think of Billy Bob Thornton, the vial of blood, kissing her bro, and her telling Larry King about the panic attack she had when her love BBT went missing on her for one evening, this woman is a total loon!

This is a tad disturbing, IF true: "It claimed that Pitt staged the six-hour dinner as an intervention to persuade Jolie, 34, to get psychiatric help. It alleged that she had suffered depression since the death of her mother from ovarian cancer three years ago, since when Jolie’s weight has dropped dramatically. It also claimed she had made a suicide attempt."

Especially if the kids are going to continue living with her. Not a good idea, in my opinion.

Storybook relationship? Let's see ... you cheat on your wife, and then you dump her for the other woman. How about get your divorce (or separation), then start a new relationship? I think they are both slimeballs and I don't care if they are together or not. However, I do feel for their children. Neither of them have any morals, IMO.

I hope Jennifer Anniston stays away from Brad. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

I have to admit, that when Brad and Jennifer's marriage was breaking up, I felt really bad for Jennifer. It just seemed really dirty, how Brad handled it, and that Angelina was flaunting it in her face.

Angelina had previously 'stolen' Billy Bob Thornton away from Laura Dern, which had already given Angelina the reputation of 'homewrecker'. (Scandalous, lol)!

What's interesting though, is if you go the bottom of this very page you are reading now, there is a box marked 'Similar Threads'.

There is one thread in particular, started almost five years ago to the day. The title of the thread is 'Brad & Angelina?', and has members posting their speculations as to whether or not Brad and Angelina were having an affair (behind Jennifer's back).

Reading those old threads almost gives you a sense of what it must be like to be a psychic- because we now know the future held 6 kids (including twins!), and that yes, they really were getting together.
