Think I might need to consider relocating also. Not really, but dang that is huge.

Any estimates on size?

I live in south Louisiana and we have some really huge gators. However, I've never seen one this big. My husband and my son went crabbing in a flat bottom motor boat, and when the boat was stopped while crabbing, several gators were constantly nudging the boat. My mom had a 5 ft gator in her inground pool. It took a few deputies with hooks to catch him and released it in a large lake. They believe in "catch and release"...haha!

I thought that too - that's what made me think this is BS!

They already had the cameras up before the big ugly thing showed up? Taking a pic of a dirt road?

And then no reaction when a Jurassic Park steps out?

LOL. Couldn't agree more. I have seen comments estimating it at 12 feet.

ETA: The bigger the gator the slower it moves on land. At least I read that somewhere.

Being said it's a 12 footer. males in Florida can grow to 14 1/2, I'm betting there are some larger. jmo idk

No, I did not and I am now going to buy another propane torch! I think this was had an addiction issue (Qualudes) - the way he just hit in ground and looked like he croaked (or she)

Again guy just walking along right by it , and then I thought heck people do that nowdays when humans are being shot so I suppose it makes some sense

It does seem photoshopped - I mean who in their right minds would remain that close to a HUGE wild predator....and get down on the ground?! That is nuts! I've heard that gaters can move very, very quickly on land in short spurts when they want to. (Run zig-zag if chased as the alligator cannot change direction quickly.)

If it's real (and I think it is, despite feeling aghast that people stood there), I think the people spotted the animal in the wooded area and were ready to snap photos when it crossed the path.

I have seen alligators in the wild on a trip to Louisiana many years ago. I was scared!
