You beat me to posting this! LOL

But that boat WAS crowding the poor alligator.

Sigh.

Are you folks trying to make my Lunesta totally ineffective?

I think my scream woke up the neighbor!

What's crazy about that video is it sounds like one person on the boat was a local taking the tourist on a sight seeing tour. If so, that "local" needs to brush up on his alligator knowledge.

LOL! That'll teach them not to get up in the face of a gator.

I've only been to FL once and the only times I've ever seen an alligator is at the zoo, but I am terrified of them! I think I've had dreams about alligators chasing me and some family members long ago. Last year, my mother started talking about moving to FL (my uncle lives there) and wanted me move there with her. I had a lot of mixed feelings about it because the first thing I thought of was alligators!

I've lived in Florida my entire life and I've only had one close encounter. I managed to hit one with a ski boat--scared me half to death.

Thankfully the skier didn't fall and all was well. Except for the gator, of course. He was hit by the bow of the boat and the propeller.

My guess based on the size of the head, which was the only part I actually saw, was 10-12 feet.
