During the fight, the mistress pointed her finger at the wife's face - and it was promptly bitten off. Surgeons were unable to sew it back on.
Italian police commented that they're accustomed to such scenes but had never seen one so violent. The article doesn't mention any charges and very bizarrely, only names the victim so I don't think I'll mention it here.
