No that's ok. I just didn't know if it was actually in the news since I've been following both cases very closely. It would change a lot of things if we knew factually that chloroform was used on her.

Thanks!

Yeah...well it's driving me bonkers because I know I read it...just don't know where. I must be losing my mind. LOL

There are bodies found in that park a lot from everything I have read. Also, they have a vast homeless population which live there. This makes solving the murder of that woman even more difficult with the transients in and out. I honestly do not believe there is any connection between her death and Caylee's disappearance.

There is nothing in any statement of Casey's that has turned out to be true. Not a thing. This tells me that Blanchard Park was another lie to throw people off. I once thought this park might be a good place to search, but now I think it is simply another one of her red herrings.

There was talk of chloroform being used on another site called in session but they were not able to come up with a link to validate it either and the poster said perhaps she had dreamed it. But I am very curious to know what the significance of June 9th is to this whole situation. I think the theories being posed here a quite plausible but I hold little hope for Caylee being alive.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Detectives made an arrest in a 2007 rape case that happened in the area where 26-year-old Nicole Ganguzza was found murdered. But they don't think he's the man who killed her.

"Even though we have this person in custody we have no evidence linking him to this case right now," said Sgt. Rich Mankewich of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

~snip~

Investigators believe she was all alone when she was dragged into the woods and murdered. Sources said investigators have received a lot of tips that homeless people have been seen in out of the woods that border the paved jogging trail along the Econ River.

~snip~

"He's somebody who is really familiar with this area. We feel this is someone that is familiar with this park, who has frequented that location and has possibly even staked out this area," said Sgt. Allen Lee of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Sex crimes detectives believe Ganguzza's murder may be related to the east-side serial rapist. They are visiting all the homeless camps near the area, as well as checking with sex offenders within a 5-mile radius.

I seriously think Casey changed the location to Blanchard Park because this may be the closest place to where Caylee will be found.

This will be easier for Casey to justify that the inviso-nanny with the script took her away.

She must be afraid LE is getting very close.

this theory makes sense to me...

As to why she made up the nanny story versus a stranger..I think that was because a month had gone by...She needed an excuse for why she never called police..Using the nanny vs a stranger to explain the "looking on her own"

Cops tell AMW they believe the person who killed Nicole Ganguzza lives close by and is familiar with Orlando's Blanchard Park. They may be acting strangely, and cops believe the murderer now has scratches on arms, legs and face, due to the heavy brier in the area.

Police sources say they think the killer staked out the park, waiting for a potential victim to enter the wooded park. They say it was a perfect opportunity for the abductor: the area had experienced heavy weather during the day, and the park was nearly empty at the time.

I have never been to that site, so I know that I did not see it there. Heck, I may have seen something like that here. I just know that I saw it and that is what lead me to think that maybe these cases were connected somehow. If I had not seen the reference, I would have never made that connection.

And I too hold out hope that Caylee is alive. I know that most people here think she is dead...they have that right. But until someone proves to me she is dead, I'm not willing to write her off.

This report said she was murdered on June 10th not the 9th. Article also mentions two people LE wants to find to question.: Ganguzza, 26, was abducted while jogging in Blanchard Park June 10. Her body was found the next day.

~snip~

Meanwhile, deputies are still searching for two people considered persons of interest in the case. Investigators think they were in the park around the time of her murder.

AMW reports it as being June 10th.

Jun 10, 2008 ... Her car and purse were found in the parking lot of Orlando's Blanchard Park, where she had gone to jog on Tuesday evening. ...http://www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=56479

I tried skimming through...so sorry if these have already been posted...I didn't see them if so.

Didn't Scott P. try to use 'the homeless in the park' theory too? Of course then Lacy and Connor later washed ashore.

Cindy was at the tow yard with George
totally agree with that statement
I read all 400+ pages of LE's documents. The 911 calls were on July 15, and they went to the tow yard on July 16. Statements by CA, GA, the tow yard owner, the tow truck driver and the lady who works in the office there, are all in the statements. The dates are all consistent.
So CA knew about the smell in the trunk the day before they even went to pick it up. The only way she could have known that, is if she already knew when she called 911 that little Caylee was no longer with us.
However, I was sleepy when I wrote the post you are referring to, and forgot about the hair and decomp evidence in the trunk being tied to Caylee by LE, and the chloroform evidence in the trunk, and the search by a computer one of the A's owns. Add to that the sworn testimony of 2 employees at the nursing home that Caylee was there on Father's Day, June 15, and the video tape of the event.
So I do believe (just in my opinion) that Caylee is no longer with us. My theory is that she passed away on June 16, and that KC at some point told her family, and a decision was made to post date her dissapearance to June 9 to try to tie it into the Blanchard Park murder. The lady's body was moved from the park to the back of the post office, probably after she was murdered, and it might have looked like a good idea to claim that the body in the trunk was hers because KC "might" have witnessed the incident, was forced to help transfer the body to the post office, all in an effort to try to establish reasonable doubt in the general public.
The whole theory worked, until I remembered about the dna and decomp evidence being tied to Caylee, plus the hits in her backyard. The woman's body would have never been in Casey's backyard.
Unfortunately, I do not think it was an accident; Casey's demeanor and lies lead me to that conclusion. My son was taken from me when he was 11. I knew exactly who took him, probably where they were headed, and knew that he was not in danger, and I was a basket case. If someone else had taken him and I had no clue where he was, I would have gone out of my ever livin mind. I called the police the very night he was gone, and hounded the FBI until they saw my point. I cried so much my eyes were swollen with dark circles. Casey shows none of this.
A post mentioned that sometimes law enforcement sometimes puts out a little tidbit that is a little "off" sometimes, in order to further their investigation. But I ran it past my husband this morning, and he said that LE would never go that far (to imply to the world that Caylee is deceased, unless she really is. ) He is the Grand Jury Foreman in our county, so I'm leaning back to my original theory now. Darnnit, I was really hoping there for a few hours.

They went to the tow yard on the 15th. They called 911 on the 15th. The car was at the Anthony home when the police arrived on the 15th. Casey was arrested after the visit to Universal on the 16th. Cindy was at the tow yard with George on the 15th.

snipped most of the post...

This is the first "Caylee could be alive" theory that I could possibly buy but what about the dogs hitting on the back yard?

Oh, I think either could be possible but leading towards what the dogs found :( unfortunately.

I have to say I am very confused as to why there has not been an arrest.

1.Hair found in the trunk that was Cayles and has "death rings on it" and smell in car.
2.Her constant lying to LE and the so called "NANNY" (which none have checked out).
3. Neighbor saying she had borrowed a shovel and did not return it for some time.
4.Her showering @ a neighbors sometime after borrowing shovel.
5. Most obvious, her constant lies to LE when the are trying to help her find her daughter.

WHY HAS SHE NOT BEEN ARTRESTED!!!!! You hear of other criminals arrested on much less. I do not get it. And I only listed a few things here that are puzzling!

I guess they want a rock solid case before charging her. They don't want this one to slip away especially after they have put so much into it

To be honest with you, I can't remember where I read it. I don't remember if I read it on the internet news or if I read it here, or possibly another forum I visit. I'm looking for a link on the internet news, but can't seem to find anything either. Errrrrrrr

So now I'm thinking that maybe it came from here or another forum and it was speculation. Heck for all I know, I dreamed it. LOL If I find a link verifying this, I will post it.

With that said...that does not rule out the possiblity that is what had happened...of course that is just speculation.

coinkydink?

In Florida there is a time clock that starts running once you charge someone, they have so many days before they have to go to trial.

So, unless you have a body and a smoking gun, your best way of getting a conviction is to get your investigation complete and get all your ducks in row before you charge, because you don't get a second chance if they get found non-guilty.
