Hospitals and shelters in HI are already overloading. Many are heading to hospitals for shelter, Dept. of health has issued statement not to go to the hospital if you are not in need of medical attention.

Less than an hour to landfall in HI.

Schools and hospitals are overwhelmed in Japan as well. No more room in the shelters, per CNN.

Confirmed 50+ dead in Japan.

Train service down in Tokyo, the city is mainly ground to a halt.

Discussing the fact that the third largest economy in the world just basically crashed and burned, oil prices will rise nationwide, and stock markets everywhere are taking a hit already.

Predictions are still 3-6 foot waves to hit HI in about half an hour.

10 minutes to HI landfall.

Still no real idea how large the waves will be, since there are a lot of factors that affect wave height. Still expecting wraparound waves on HI, meaning that it could potentially hit both sides of HI. These are not typical waves, these are monsters moving with force that we cannot even understand. The last one was in 1960...please be ready. God be with all of us, whether we are in the way of this or not.

The Today Show just said they are getting reports of the Tsunami hitting Hawaii. Just about a minute ago they said this and went to commercial? Prayers for everyone in Japan and those who are being effected by the Tsunami.

It's time to hold out collective breath as reports emerge from around the Pacific. I hope we don't hear of any more tsunami reports from other countries but I understand 63 countries are under warnings. I hope the tsunami's fizzle out or things could get alot worse.

Wow, my son and his wife just left French Polynesia (Tahiti/Bora Bora) yesterday and are in L.A. They were there 2 weeks...they've sure got angels on their shoulders! Prayers to everyone affected!

30 foot waves reported.

Tokyo's main international airport is allowing some outbound flights, but inbound are rerouted.

Waves are hitting in HI. FULL coastal evacuation in progress. Wave heights not known for sure. Due to the dark, the full impact in HI might not be known for awhile. Most people have evacuated.

Saying that in Tokyo, there is order, people are camping in subways, and the bike shops are bought out as people attempt to find a way home. . North of there, they are in crisis, search and rescue operation, panic in some areas, not nearly as contained and orderly as it is in Tokyo.
