"A police spokesman, Yoshihiro Fukutani, said police were still trying to learn the exact situation inside the Sasago Tunnel, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) outside the city, after parts of a wall inside collapsed early Sunday morning."

Oh, how horrible..hope everyone gets out ok. Thats always been one of my fears when in tunnels...

There's a tunnel I have to go thru occasionally in Vancouver that runs under the Fraser River and I HATE it - thinking of all the tons of water that are above while driving thru it.
