@Incoherent , do you know if the latest reportings are using the original tests (in re: substances in bag); or have they ever retested the bag (with presumably the finer-grained tech available today?)

I have never seen barium titanate mentioned anywhere even once before the tv show, in Japanese or English. The leaves and droppings were rumoured, as were the sands, but never actually confirmed before this at least publicly.
I’m quite surprised how heavily foreigner-leaning the entire thing was to be honest.

But to answer your question - I am unsure, but it’s possible based on the new information.
