The murders were among the most heinous in Canadian history.
Jon Rallo, 33 at the time, was a Hamilton city supervisor when sometime late on Aug. 16 or Aug. 17, 1976 he murdered his wife Sandra, 29, their son, Jason, 6, and daughter, Stephanie, 5, at their Hamilton Mountain home.
Rallo was convicted of murdering his family and sentenced to prison. The bodies of his wife and daughter were recovered, but that of his son, Jason is still missing.
Now, thanks to COVID-19, the Hamilton triple killer has been granted “medical leave” from a Sudbury halfway house.
According to media reports, the Parole Board of Canada (..PBC) decided last week that for the next 90 days, the 77-year-old can live full-time in a home he shares with his girlfriend....
... His wife’s family is still waiting to learn where Rallo dumped the body of his son.
There had been some hope the killer would come clean once his mother died (in 2015). He has refused.
Sandra’s sister, Janice Orovan, wrote to the parole board asking them not to approve his COVID-19 free pass...
They did anyway. Oh Canada!
