Or they could have been washed right there in that house, just not by JY due to time constraints. I definitely think the Defense needs to make a bigger deal of the indication that the pajamas were washed -- what is the likelihood, show the jurors up close images of them, etc.

I think I mentioned before that I live in Raleigh and on several days I attended the second trial. One of the days I attended was the day the prosecution rested. They then had and an evidence display. all of the evidence was put out and the jury was able to come down and view the evidence up close. They were even allowed to touch things if they put on the gloves that were made available. It was very interesting for me to watch the jurors handle the evidence. Many picked up CY's pj's also saw many spend a lot of time (and some even took notes) on the things taken from JY's car. It truly was quite interesting.

I just don't associate baby wipes with the amount of nlood we saw. Why not just grab a towel?

I don't either. No need to avoid the drains if the blood was all Michelle's. The only reason to use baby wipes and avoid the drains is if the blood wasn't Michelle's.

Nope, not NG..although I watched her for the Arias case. A lot of WRAL articles have expired after 8 years..
I did find something else interesting though! Becky Holt was assigned to the case and she was at the Young home, which is rare when a crime scene is still active.

I vaguely remember that. I also remember after the crime scene was released one of JY's sisters found a tooth. Ya have to wonder what exactly they were doing in that home all that time if they missed a tooth in a rather confined space of that bedroom.

Jason Young did talk to Police

I was looking for something, and found this. 11/06/06

"We probably will be talking to him pretty quickly, he said (Donnie Harrison)
He (Jason Young) was talked to briefly on Friday afternoon and that's all."

I just think baby wipes would be quicker and easy to dispose of and I would imagine a towel was also used and then everything disposed of afterwards.

I just don't think they would be absorbent enough, when a washcloth ot towel would be right there in the bathroom.

State's theories that CY was drugged or removed from the home in search warrants..07/25/07

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/4090060/

http://www.wral.com/news/local/document/4083976/

"Due to the location of the Tylenol bottle and the dropper it is believed that the medication was delivered to CY,"

http://www.wral.com/news/local/document/4083955/

"Due to the situation with the child's bloodied feet versus the clean condition the child's feet when found; the confusion over the keys to the decedent's vehicle and how they came to be placed on the kitchen counter and Meredith Fisher's keys being found on the hood of the decedent's vehicle it is believed that the 2000 silver Lexus RX300 could have been used to transport the child from the scene. If this was the case, there may have been transference of blood from the scene to the vehicle
using the child for conveyance."

More from same warrant:

"The dropper is in the custody or the Wake County's Sheriff's Office and a sample of CY's DNA (inner cheek swabbing) is needed for comparison and analysis. This analysis will aid in identifying a person(s) who participated in the crime of N.C.G.S. 14-17 Murder"

What were the results of the actual swabbing of CY's cheek to see if her DNA was on the dropper?

Oh, yeah. That was when he was riding in the car with his head on his mama's lap, and he hung up on LE after saying he wouldn't talk to them, IIRC. JMO

And, the rest of the conversation that followed? Mrs.Young telling them they were on their way back to Raleigh and they told her they darn well better be.....and then we they got back, they seized the vehicle without a search warrant.....and wouldn't let them have any of their personal things. Then hours later, they declared they saw blood spots in the SUV to obtain their warrant.

I will find that for you.

You referred to JY talking to police. Mama's conversations are not the topic. JY's conversation probably consisted of "Yes, this is Jason...click." Something short, uninformative, nothing to help the investigation, nothing inquisitive about his wife's death.

One sock had blood and one did not and there are clear right and left footprints.

Something stinks to high heaven.

But, we don't know that, do we? I doubt it was a cordial conversation though, and I am sure JY was scared. But, he did come back!! The point of my post was to show that JY did talk, however briefly , to LE , so it can't be said he never talked.

I still believe it possible she had identical pink pj's and JY carried her into bathroom and cleaned her and put on another pair of pink pj's. Even though cleaned she most likely had trace blood on her that when chemically tested showed those trace amounts.
Also kids that age easily sleep 10- 12 hours a night. So again I am of the belief that JY did give her a dropper full of the extra strength Tylenol blast.
( JY even told hid mom that dropper would show his DNA, Even though it didn't for him to tell his mom that is evidence that he did at sometime give CY medicine using that dropper. ) So IMO CY was never wandering around for 10 hours. It could easily be she had only been awake a short time before MF arrived.

Interesting to note that he told his mother this. I thought he was to remain mute as ordered by his attorney? When did he tell her this? Don't go searching for links. I don't need them. Just making an observation.

The black shoe that testified positive for blood must have been a blood transfer when CY was wearing at least one bloody sock. The only thing is SS testifed CY could not put her socks on by herself and I don't know if she could take them off by herself either. It is strange and the bloody footprints all going the same direction in the bathroom make no sense at all. How did she get out of there ?

IMO, his family circled the wagons. The cops wanted to speak to him. What's so bad about that? They witnessed the horror of the crime. They knew the little girl was present. Why was he hiding? Why was he avoiding them? And I don't need to hear it was on the advice of his attorney. I know all about that. It's debatable when he actually retained an attorney. You don't think it was wise for LE not to allow them to unload the car? They would have been remiss in their duties, IMO. And they did eventually get what they needed. JY was hiding and it was very apparent.

The only way some people will learn NEVER to talk to police is if they or their loved one is railroaded when they run their mouth.

How much time had SS spent with CY? Wasn't she single, then engaged, newly married, NO CHILDREN and involved in her own life? Years younger than MY? How did she know she couldn't put her shoe on?
