They might have had a total earning of up to $150k, but either way, even $130k is plenty for a family with one child and another on the way.
Thanks Otto, enjoying your cake?

Or review the appellate court opinion. MF spoke to Jason and he asked her what happened. Intentionally misrepresenting the facts isn't going to change reality.
After Defendant arrived and learned from his mother of Michelle’s passing, he spoke with Meredith over the phone. Meredith told Defendant to come to her home because the Youngs’ home was a crime scene. When speaking to Meredith, he asked about Emily, what had happened, and seemed upset over the phone.

Thank you ... and for the replies upthread as well! Since so many of us have been together discussing this case for almost eight years, I decided to pick up treats for everyone! We might have to jump across the fence once or twice to share.

Here is what Shelley Schaad testified to about "conversations with JY" after the murder:
1. SS went into MF's house and then right to see CY. JY was in the bed with CY. SS told JY how sorry she was & how she couldnt understand what happened. JY hugged SS and said, Im so sorry. SS does not recall any other conversation between her & JY that evening.
2. Convo with JY about the will (after visitation at funeral home). Ryan & SS went to hotel. CY had already been taken to Brevard. JY asked Shelley, what happens to CY now in terms of the will does she still go to Heather & Joe? SS was a witness to that will but had no idea about the legal aspects. SS interpreted JY's question as, "JY asking if he goes to jail will CY then go to his sister & bro in law?"
3. At visitation / funeral. Any 1:1 contact with JY? "Yes, sure, well with the whole family. Reached out to him & the whole family." SS said she was in support mode. Question: "Did you (SS) engage him in convo about investigation & talking to the police?" SS: "Yes, over the phone sometime after the funeral I asked JY, what happened, Jason? Who could have done this? Did Michelle cross someone? Did she make anyone angry? JY said, I can't talk; my lawyer told me not to talk.
4. Was JY speaking to other friends? SS testified "JY was not speaking to other friends, nor her husband, RS, nor the police." SS wondered why JY would not help.
5. After the funeral SS no longer had contact with JY. She said, "I decided JYs true colors would become apparent over time. I mean, how unlucky can one man be to have a series of events around his wife's murder .... SS said she cut off all contact with JY her husband remained in contact for awhile, but SS didnt want to see or speak to JY again. She never spoke to JY again. Her husband eventually did the same. (note: the implication that the Schaad's believe JY murdered MY became apparent though the question was not point-blank asked.)

Birthdays are the one day where one is allowed to eat pastries for breakfast, pastries for lunch, pastries with afternoon coffee, and pastries in the evening.
Lol, and as for jumping the fence, I was once on the other side!!
Yep, shocker, I was a G!!

Thanks!! And, it really doesn't matter what he said or didn't say, it is not evidence that he committed this crime. Other than the state trying to make the jury hate the guy so much that we can get by with our not so credible eye witness cause we sure as heck do not have a motive either.
SS had many conversations with him immediately and days after the murder? I don't remember that?
Maybe you havent gotten to Jasons testimony. He admits that he did not talk about his alibi with anyone at all, pursuant to his lawyers advice

If Jason did not ask Meredith what she found in the house, and if Jason at no time asked what happened to Michelle, when did he learn what happened ... during trial?

He found out immediately. MF said in her testimony that she told him not to go to his house because it was a crime scene.
You must have missed the part where she said she talked to him many times.
Listen to it again.
