Yes, but the state wants us to believe that it was running from 3-4 am until 1:30 pm , that is 10 plus hours, and that is all the water that accumulated on the cement path?

The spray nozzle was not "ON" Justice. It was not running freely.
The only water coming from that house would be leakage due to the seal not being tight.

I can not hear my hose if it is on outside unless I am outside too. And, my hose is also under the kitchen windows.

I am going to pull up MF's testimony on the description of the hose and the noise demonstration she made in court.

I hear my hose all through my house.
It is not intrusive, just a background noise you barely notice until someone turns it off.

Maybe it is not, I just assume because my house is older that it would be (and if it can break/bust/rupture...it will ).

I did find a little into however-
No matter where you live, no matter what your weather, the bottom line is you should never leave water in a garden hose during the summer. Not only is it going to decrease the life of your hose and your nozzle, but you're taking a serious risk with your home's plumbing. The extra 20 seconds it takes you to drain the hose is absolutely 100% worth it.

Thanks, but I am getting ready to install an automatic drip and it has to stay on.

Yes....as Nymeria pointed out and I attempted to point out, the water on the sidewalk is from the leaking aprayer. This wouldn't be a lot of water, even over this much time. The lots DO slope and water from the payment ( even a small amount) would not puddle on the ground.

IMO, the pavement absorbed a very slow leakage...hence it's not a "big" spot or puddle.

How good you are at verbalizing your thoughts/ideas. An English major, I'm having difficulties...LOL

I'm interested in what you find because on the 911 call MF said something about the dog freaking out. I'm baffled how it would be possible to hear both the dog and the pipes. It sorta doesn't make sense.

Also, though it was cold for NC, the temp. at 41 degrees that night was no where near freezing (at least to me, I live in MI). As the night goes on that water is going to dribble into the grass and soak in, not freeze up.
There is also evaporation to take into account.

It was the state's position that this was a possible way JY cleaned up after the murder, it wasn't my idea, it was theirs......these are their photos, not mine.

Let me go get MF's testimony to hear what she had to say and maybe we can put the hose away, lol.

I don't think she referenced hearing them in the same sentence........

Thanks for the compliment Tar
But if I was REALLY good I would figure out a way to duplicate that sound for Justice here on the forum :giggle:

Maybe something on YouTube? :dunno:

I had a similar layout in one of my houses. The neighborhood was very similar too. Friends and family who would visit would freak out because there were no window treatments. They were always spooked. I was used to it.

Same here.....my kitchen layout was like Michelle's and I liked the sink window "bare" because we backed up to woods and standing at the sink looking out into the backyard was pleasing to me.....actually our bay window was "bare" too for the same reason. My Mother, however, talked about it every time she came to our house. It really bothered her. :)

It was described as close to freezing because Jason was a bad husband for not having the heater fixed, even though that day it was in the 80's.

I believe she said that she heard the water when she first arrived at the house -- she said she first tried the front door, then the side rear garage door which is adjacent to the hose, then finally entered through the regular garage door.

I am going to post the actual video of MF's testimony making the sounds, hold on. I am almost at that part. It's just that everytime I go looking for something, I find something else interesting as well.

Did they dust the garage door for prints?

Let me try to get this straight....

First she went to the front door, then she walked right past the open garage door, entered the back yard and walked to the door leading to the same open garage she had just passed by? Why didn't she just walk through the open garage door to begin with? Was she asked that question?
