Now he disses on MF. WE always knew she didn't get up before noon. So out of respect he waited to call her that morning. He's good. What a guy. MOO.

Every time he mentions home he means Brevard. Not his own home with Cassidy and Michelle. Odd IMO.

Now the fake tears (dry BTW) when he gets the word. He was just broken. He remembered it was a sunny day. He remembered going in the house, crying and sobbing. Feeling cold then hot. Other than that he doesn't remember anything. He never mentions asking what happened, how could this be, what do you mean? He doesn't mention being concerned about CY. No panic just acceptance. Really? MOO.

There is. The register receipts were presented in court. IMO, when Gracie testifies that JY's car was the only one she means AT THE PUMPS. The former client was a minute earlier and had probably driven away. The newspaper man didn't come in every morning for gas. He came for coffee. He was probably not parked at the pumps. I believe Gracie. Her testimony is unshakeable to me. I understand the need to discredit her but it doesn't fly with me. She held her own, she didn't lie, she told it as it was. And she nailed him. MOO.

I am sure that Gracie saw someone. But she described him as "having a little hair" and just slightly taller than herself. She testified that she is five feet tall. She could not describe anything about the clothes he was wearing, or anything else about him. That is not nailing him. The ADA, Becky Holt was a lot taller than Gracie. Jason at six feet would have towered over her.

Gracie also testified that the regular customer was still there when the obnoxious person walked out and commented "That was a little weird."

There were several transactions just minutes before that 5:27 transaction and several after that one. Gracie only identified one as a regular customer. The one who was already there and who informed the person at the pump that he would have to come inside and pay before pumping the gas.

So maybe all of those people were regular customers???? All of them. It would seem that there should have been someone else waiting in line behind "Jason" because the next transaction was at 5:28, whether it was for gas, coffee, or whatever. There was one at 5:26 also, just before "Jason". That does not leave much time for a cussing out.

Is there a place where we can find copies of the actual receipts to find out if the 5:26 and 5:28 purchases were gasoline, coffee, or what?

The step mother's feelings don't concern me. Step-mother/step-daughter relationship vs husband & wife. This was MY's loving husband dissing her at every turn, on the witness stand, just to save his hide. Butter could have melted in his mouth. Did you notice the respect he gave to CS and MM and their testimony? Are you aware that MY's father called JY a chameleon? MOO.

I didn't think he dissed her at all on the stand. Certainly nothing gave me the impression that he wanted her dead. I think this is why it was 8-4 NG. He seemed very honest and sincere.

I wish I had taken notes. Not sure I can stomach it again. IMO, he was not a bit sincere. Disingenuous and dishonest. He back doored all his unfavorable comments. Even went as far as to blame her moods on pregnancy! When he stated she was upset about her father cancelling his visit he said it was all about her! She didn't understand that her father had cancer! She was full of DRAMA. In the meantime he is emailing GC and bedding MM. Are you kidding me? MOO.

Now being asked about the police waiting for him. Again talking about his Mom. She said they were rude and he just didn't understand that. This was on the ride back home. He being so sweet and calm and wonderful not to mention grieving just could not understand that? MOO.

Gracie's testimony is confusing and just forced, imo. Any customer around 5:27am would have to have been in line and saw Jason as well. Where are they? Didn't someone use a credit card, and couldn't they be contacted? It is like everyone disappeared in thin air !
Didn't anyone see the news? Just Gracie and her Mystery customer!

Ya know what? It could have been so different for him if he had acted like a real man on the stand. A real man that sincerely said I was a jerk to my wife and now she is dead and I will never get over it. I miss her, I miss my daughter, I miss my life. Instead he makes one excuse after the other and talks about LE being mean to his mother! MOO.

Totally believed him and didn't think I would, after all the rumors about him....
He made a good impression and if there were times he seemed unsure, it just made him more human. rather than someone who was rehearsed and had all the answers to all the questions.
Maybe he will testify again in Trial 3, if there is one.

It was sooo not forced. It was real and genuine. Gracie rocked IMO.

MOO.
They weren't rumors. They were true. What so called rumors did you read that weren't true? Do tell. The only one I am aware of is that he had gambling debts. Please apprise us of the others. MOO.

The pre-trial hearing is when the Judge had to jump in and help Gracie. (May 20, 2011)

Witness Testimony Challenged In Young Case

www.abc11.com/archive/8142246/

"But when asked by the lead prosecutor if she could describe the man she froze and went silent. After a long pause, Dahms said I can't remember exactly".

"The Judge jumped into the questioning and Dahms said it was a white man. But when the Judge asked
her if he was bald or what his hairstyle was, she again seemed unsure"

Also she said she had met with investigators and prosecutors recently, and they told her.
"It's very important...........my testimony"

This testimony was troubled from the start! JMO

WOW!!!! I dont think Gracie ever saw JY.. But the state is making her believe she did.. SHAME!!!!

This is what we are talking about....a receipt that would show someone paying $20 for gasoline, but only getting $15.00, there has to be a record of that.

There should be....

I wonder how the regular that was supposedly in the store got there. On foot?

Maybe they popped in like Samantha did on Bewitched... You know how those witches are-- just popping in and out all the time.... :floorlaugh:

Gracie IMO was/is confused......

Very and I feel bad for her....The state needed her and I think that made her want to help.

They went to see her different times in the investigation, along with the WCSO and SBI, and she wasn't able to offer an accurate description of Jason...

The whole story is a mess from start to finish..with nothing to indicate JY was ever there.

But, time to move on..........we most likely will be hearing from Gracie again and we can discuss her testimony more then!

I think it was "all about her" if she was upset about AF not coming for a visit. It's okay though, we're all human.

Blaming her moods on pregnancy - I have no problem with that either. What is wrong with that?

There is proof in this email that JY said personally to MY that she was full of drama. It would seem weird if he omitted something the courts have a record of, then he wouldn't be truthful.

I think you are missing what the poster is trying to say. It's that HE (JLY) never takes blame for anything. It is always someone's else fault. It is never him. But, he can't help how mama raised him, imo.

ETA: Just like when he was dismissed from Nursing school. He violated HIPPA with a patient's chart then tried to say he was framed???

"Jason Young stopped attending classes last week and the administration announced yesterday that he was no longer in the program. This was due to a combination of factors. First and foremost he is a murder suspect in a criminal case and a named slayer in a civil case. Secondly, he violated a serious protocol at the hospital where we are training.....t was a HIPAA violation (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). He did not secure a patients file and it was discovered by one of the instructors. Instead of accepting respondsibility, he claimed that he was framed."
