The story given was that he left to try to get cigarettes then returned and stated then he was leaving
I find this really interesting, the fact he mentioned he ‘returned’ … when trying to lie ..half truths often slip out

"Jay Slater could be alive somewhere

'drinking rainwater and eating plants',

says private investigator

who urges family

'not to give up hope'

after police ended search 'prematurely'."

This has been my hopes.
After speaking to my husband about this case, and knowing him, he could survive in these surroundings. I think many of us know, or are, individuals who would know how to.
Jay, unfortunately in his condition, and just by his character, imo could not. Sad. Its been too long now.

The two men would never do something so stupid as steal from the burly guy, they are older and are known in the area.. they would have the remote airbnb for their drug/cash supply security and to keep out the town/cctv etc they would probably try to weasel it of jay at the airbnb though..
who is this 'burly guy'?

Do you all think Jay is more likely, or less likely to be found, if foul play was involved?
What about the case of this elderly couple, the woman was found dismembered? I can't even find that case on websleuths...
