Jaycee's Bio dad

There is no end to Slayton's inappropriate behavior. This blog is an embarassment. He can't quite pull off the "I didn't know" she was my child. I still don't understand why he did NOTHING when he was informed by the FBI Jaycee had been kidnapped.

Here is a quote from an article publised last year.

Slayton says he was shocked to find out about Jaycee's kidnapping when FBI agents showed up at his door 18 years ago.
He was ruled out as a suspect, just as Jaycee's stepfather Carl Probyn was.
When Jaycee disappeared, Ken was married and had two other daughters, Sarrah, now 24, and Brittney, 21.
INSIDE EDITION takes a look at pictures of Brittney when she was 11, the same age as Jaycee when she was kidnapped.
"When she was abducted, obviously we were too young to understand what happened," Brittney says.

Sarrah says, "We always thought she was dead."

I guess Ken just figured she was dead so why bother involving himself with Terry or looking for Jaycee, but now he is all insulted they won't let him talk to Jaycee.

He needs to dump the blog and wait for the day Jaycee might want to meet him. IMHO he is self righteous, self serving, and Jaycee does no need his likes in her life.

I don't know if this is the right thread, doesn't seem to be one that exactly matches. I saw somewhere that her mother lives in Riverside County. Don't know if this is the same person or not, but her name can be easily searched and it comes up with a picture from her work on their website. I'm not going to post it, but search Terry Probyn Riverside and you'll find it.

There is no current information on there - only old info.

However, if anyone is in contact with Jaycee's sister, mom, stepdad or anyone who really cares for Jaycee, she need to see a really good estate planner attorney to make a will and a trust (trust actually optional but a good idea) to insure that Phil Garrido and Ken Sleazeball Slayton and his brood do not get their hands on any of those funds which is quite possible if she does not get those documents. <-- should that statement go in new thread?

No but you could see probate filings dragging things out for years.
Anybody can file anything they want......doesn't mean it's legal,ethical or they'd win but they can file and be a PITA for everybody involved.

A few years ago there was a prisoner(I believe doing life for murder) who spent every spare minute filing lawsuits.He even managed(through some clever wrangling)to get a lien filed on the house& property of the Judge who sentenced him!

He could get his hands on it the same way that Sleazeball can. He happens to be the father of the two girls. Sleazeball being Jaycee's father. Should Jaycee meet an unfortunate "accident" and dies without a will her estate would go to the two girls and her parents in accordance with California laws of intestate succession. Check out probate code section 6401 and 6402. Also at that time PG would be the only remaining "parent" so not really clear how that would work out. I am sure there are other laws out there so some might deal with that issue.

So it is my suggestion, and I have thought this a long time, that even if she has no funds or estate now, she should make a will and trust and so should her mother. Actually everyone should deal with their estate plans. Saves a whole lot of headaches down the line. (I am guilty too, I work in field and have yet to make a will)

JC will have to be very careful, not even a money manager can be trusted. but her mom can be trusted. And I sure do hope she will set things right for JC.
Lets not forget JC has no clue how to deal with money, she may know how to get change from buying an ice cream cone, but she needs guidance for everything.
I hope when she meets a man he will like JC not her money. I am sorry this story had to be printed, for her sake, it is almost best it not be printed.

Slayton knew this day would come, and he planned to be in her life when it did come.
I sure hope JC will get some way to keep the Mother F away.

He started to count the day she was found. that is the only reason he showed up. Otherwise there would not have been a GLORIA standing there in the wings. uke:
