Agree, I thought of other preteens who have gone into the night
A 10 yr old could be not yet diagnosed with autism

The note seems addressed to the public to be on the lookout
No plea as if someone took him

It was mentioned that he was wearing PJs with Sonic the hedgehog
What about shoes- are his SHOES missing?

Anything else gone, a dog, snacks, backpack, water bottle, cap, pillow, game??
Was there an argument?

What is he reading? or shows he is watching? Interests?
I went out at night in the rural area as a kid to watched the stars

Wow, that area is rural, forest in every direction
Black bear, coyotes
Evidently no mountain lions in KY
Do they have wild dogs packs?

These cases are so worrisome!
IMO
We do have dog packs because a 13-year-old was killed in the next county over.

Assuming Jayden was enrolled in school, he was reported missing a day before school
started.

Things that make you go Hmmmm...

There is already a thread on Jayden.

Hoping for good news but a boy this age is not fending for himself, sadly.

Are they ever going to show a different picture of Jayden? It’s just the same photo with the same headline over and over.

where? couldn't find one when I started this one the first day

It looks like the threads have been combined, so you are now in the correct (full) thread.

No news, no updates. I know LE continues to search but I can’t understand how little attention is being paid to this poor lost child.

Just a quick comment about the dark circles under Jayden’s eyes. It can be quite common for children with allergies to have dark circles under their eyes. Jayden appears to be very fair skinned, which can make dark circles more noticeable.
The kid could also have anemia, or a blood disorder! I’ve looked exhausted and ill since I was born due to an inherited blood disorder we didn’t diagnose until I was in my 20’s (I was adopted so had no family medical history)

Makes you wonder if the parents don’t have any photos which is a red flag in itself

If LE is not finding traces of him, could be that his disappearance is not recent.

I think there is a lot going on behind the scenes and LE is doing their investigation. MOO Just breaks my heart that he looks so sad.

I think so too. They are searching, but also investigating, imo.

Yes, sadly I don't think this is going to have a happy ending...the fact that there has been so little info released about Jayden makes me believe that LE knows a lot more than they are telling the public.

Unfortunately, I think LE knew from the start what had happened to this boy - they are just piecing together the evidence now before arrests take place imo.

just so sad. 😢

I am imagining some rather inconsistent stories and facts coming from 'someone', regarding even describing the morning and the day of Jaydens' disappearance. Just my thoughts....

Search continues for missing 10-year-old boy in Breathitt County

BREATHITT CO., Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are in their fifth day of searching for a missing 10-year-old boy in Breathitt County, battling rugged terrain, thick brush, and water obstacles in their efforts to find him.

[…]

"Unfortunately they were racing against the clock and we're on the wrong side of time, so we need to make sure we locate him as safely as possible and immediately," said Trooper Matt Gayheart of the Kentucky State Police.

[…]

"Right now, where we're at in the investigation, we've taken an area we identified as the initial area that he's reported missing in. We have searched that area throughout […] Authorities have now broadened the search to other areas and will continue looking, even if the investigation takes a turn.

"We have no time to spare, the time is now, so we're urging anyone with information that can lead us to the location of Jayden, please come forward," Gayheart said.
