Day two of searching for missing 10-year-old boy in Breathitt County
Troopers said as of Thursday, it was an open investigation and they will consider every possibility.www.wymt.com
It's weird for sure. It literally looks like a child wrote it, with the big printed words, double-spaced, in pencil, like it's a 5th grade school assignment. It's also weird that she spells his name with a lower case j a couple of times, like a kid would. I'm not implying any of this means anything whatsoever, it's just bizarre to me to see an adult write a note like this, idk.
These thing you say , they happen outside the most dysfunctional of families. Also inside of functional ones. Good luck.I’d like to know who else lives in that house. The note to me screams I’m not allowed to go speak to anyone or I’m too afraid to because I know what might happen to me. MOO
Note the link please? In the video you shared, am I correct in assuming they showed the boy's home? It was brief but I saw a mobile home with a lot of accumulated items on the porch.
This home does not look far from other homes. Anyone else have any impressions of this neighborhood?
Of course there’s a stepfatherThanks for sharing this latest video. From the video:
-No Amber Alert has been issued. There is no evidence of kidnapping at this time.
-Another type of alert was mentioned that JS' case did not qualify for- did anyone catch the name of the alert?
-JS' neighbors appear on the video and one of them allegedly spoke with JS' stepfather the morning of JS' disappearance. The neighbor recounts what the stepfather told him about searching for JS.
A stepfather? Rrrrrright...-JS' neighbors appear on the video and one of them allegedly spoke with JS' stepfather the morning of JS' disappearance. The neighbor recounts what the stepfather told him about searching for JS.

I know, my step dad is amazing. Just seems to always be a step dad or boyfriend in these missing child cases. Now, now. There are countless step-fathers who are kind, loving parents.
The note is the odd part, imo, not necessarily the materials. That note looks like a child wrote it.
Seriously? In pencil and printed?
Are there any other children in the home?
Yes, it's the content for me. Instead of starting with 'please look for my son, help find my son', it starts with 'we love Jayden', which to me looks like the most important and urgent thing pressing on the mind of the author is for the public to view the parent or the family favorably. The note is the odd part, imo, not necessarily the materials.
And, I don't want to judge someone's grammar and handwriting as those are not indicators of a person's character. We can perhaps surmise level of education, but not beyond that, imo.
I can see the writer put effort into making it neat and legible.
However, the note remains odd to me and my hinky meter is running loud.

Then at the end there is the call to prayer, rather than to search.

I didn't think so yesterday (that she was scared), but now I'm wondering if someone ordered her, "Don't say anything. Don't talk."The letter seems written by someone with a learning disability, I think.
It appeals for help finding her son, but it doesn't express concern for him and his well-being nor give important details, such as his clothing, appearance, circumstances, etc.
It switches from "we" to "I."
In my opinion, something is going in with the "we" in this situation. Mom does indeed wish she could have her son back, and she's scared.
I’m wondering if perhaps she dictated the note to one of the other children who allegedly live in the house who wrote it out neatly for her. It looks to me like elementary schooling printing.Good point.
I commented that the writer put effort into making the note neat and legible, and your comment makes me think the neatness could indicate, "don't judge me." It's an effort to look good in a bad situation, perhaps.
I wouldn't care one bit what my handwriting looked like if my kid were missing. I would scrawl, "FIND MY CHILD!" across a page if I were offered to write a note.
We can't know what we'd do in the situation, of course, but her behavior is out of the norm, imo.
I do hope for a good outcome.
