JB at Jail for visit with Casey during memorial

I'm sorry, but I think that was disrepectful to Caylee. I could have barfed when I heard her say that. Casey's has compassion? Cindy must be on some really good drugs that's all I can say!!

I'm sure the entire church was taken aback. I noticed CA was not looking at the audience when she said that, she turned her eyes up and to the side a little bit. She didn't want to see anyone's reaction.

On the WESH breaking news blog yesterday (I linked to it in a few posts yesterday) they had an update around 10 am that said JB was at the jail and then another at 11:XX that said jail officials e-mailed them to say if Casey wanted to watch she could watch on one of the news stations websites. It went on to say JB could use his laptop and a wireless card. It also said News websites were ok for an inmate to view.

I'm positive she watched. Not a doubt in my mind.
:snooty:

:blowkiss:

I agree. Here is the link about JB at the jail.
Up until Tuesday morning, Casey had not requested to watch her daughter’s service on television --
At 9:39 a.m. Jose Baez, visited his client in the female detention center in an attorney interview room. Although the room did not have a TV, Baez did have a laptop with him and it is possible and allowed that he and Casey could have been watching the service via air card. http://www.wesh.com/news/18679508/detail.html

Of course they watched. He arrived right before it began and left right after it was over.

Yup. I am pretty positive that KC watched it on JB's lap(top).;)

I think the perp watched because she knew some of it was going to be about her. Her announced desire in contradiction to her family was just a smokescreen. I think that this was setup by the As and co-ordinated with Baez. All their speechifying to her, about her, leads me to believe that.
I'm also guessing that when Lee was speaking, that he could see her image on his computer screen.

I think the perp was at the memorial via webcam. The As said all along that they wanted to "grieve" along with her, together, as a family. And I think that's what they managed- they were all, indeed, "united". The memorial was not really for the public at all, at the most, a secondary consideration.

Two year olds don't have compassion, they are just innocent love and sweetness and haven't learned to judge. KC can't spell compassion.

Before Caylee disappeared, I wonder what kind of compassion any of the A's ever exhibited? Other than forgiving KC for all of her crap.

This is a simple murder case. Filicide. It happens everyday, all day all over the world. I don't know why. But, this case is now getting ridiculous.

So true! Developmentally, children are not capable of compassion at that age. For adults it's a constant challenge to get past our own egos- the state of the world shows that adults are pretty undeveloped in compassion.

This further fits into the idea that this is a narcissistic family- as if Caylee, the perp and Cindy are one and the same person. CMA. Freud and Jung would have a field day!

Who cares if KC watched or not? We already know she couldn't care less about Caylee, when she murdered her and tossed her away like a bag of trash.

Interesting however, she is still delusional enough to think that if they had a burial for Caylee, that she would one day be able to go visit her grave. Yeah, like that's gonna happen, unless they bury her outside your cell window.

Well how funny that JB is allowed to take in his laptop with wireless access. I now think those late night visits at the jail are so they can watch reruns of NG together, not plan her defense.

I am interested in the Machiavellian machinations. The spin. The truth. How this affects public perception and the case. :)

Right-when I read that she wanted to be able to visit Caylee's grave, I was astounded. What? She actually thinks she's going to walk out of that jail a free woman. She is certainly delusional and I can only assume that JB is playing into those thoughts. This IS surreal!

I don't know if this was discussed already (I kinda scanned thru this thread) but I did see Luka on JVM? (I think it was her...? or Greta) and he said that the jail has strict rules that viewing laptops is a big NO NO. The jail has to be able to review first.

I like what NG said last night....During Caylee's memorial, KC is busy working on her defense strategy. (HUGE waste!)

I think the thought of it bothers me and others ONLY because her parents placated her during the memorial AGAIN. If the parents had not done this than I don't think most people would give a rat's a** if she watched or not. It is very frustrating to see the parents continue the same type of behavior that got Casey in trouble to begin with. I think that is where we are coming from in our outrage.

The fact that now Baez continues to do the same is preposterous, at least to me.
The fact that a justice system allows attorneys to visit anytime of day, 7 days a week with a laptop to watch TV is beyond most people's tolerance levels.

I am glad it doesn't bother you, and I am sincere, but it irks the bejeezes out of me.

I beleive that JB did serve his client well and was there with her during the memorial. I do believe he made it available to her and she watched it. It was in her best interest to watch it with him and not be around jail personnel or such while doing so. I also think that KC going against everything CA planned for the memorial will be part of her defense- how CA always went against her wishes concerning Caylee.
I dunno........ how is Casey going to convey that to a jury unless she gets on the stand herself? There is only so much the defense is going to be able to get out to the jury and it sure doesn't appear that there are too many that are going to be willing to say anything much in her defense. At least I hope so.
