JB's picture in the laundry room

When one says that something is a family TRADITION, at our house NOTHING stands in the way of PREPARING for an ANNUAL TRADITION. The Ramsey tradition was began by JR's father as I recall, one that JR was proud of, how can a CEO forget to prepare?

Typically the mother does ALL of the busy preparations for a LARGE holiday, for a father to FORGET his part - that being to PREPARE for his family tradition, hmmm.

One does not FORGET that. To make is sound so SPECIAL by calling it a TRADITION.

I have some special news, EVERYONE does take pictures at special occasions BUT particularly at Christmas, but they donut call it a tradition, they just 'do it'.

I do believe with my entire mental structure that SOMETHING happened during the PRESENT opening EARLY that morning that was not wished by the Ramseys to be seen by anyone.

Wonder how large the collection of videos from past traditional Christmases was? Were there far fewer snapped pictures Christmas 1996 than in the PAST? IF IF the collection of 'snapped' pictures for Christmas of 1996 were fewer than those of previous Christmases, something would definitely be OUT OF ORDER here. IF IF that was the case, then you donut have to even wonder about the forgetting part.

Lets see IF IF that was the case, then we have a 'forgetting' of taking a video, and a 'forgetting' of taking the same quantity of pictures as in traditional Christmases before.

I am also wondering since so MANY MANY pictures had been taken of JonBenet, HOW were they organized, by year, by event er, did PR make the 'picture history books' for the recording of age progression of this dear little girl?

How many pictures of Burke ?, and how were they ORGANIZED, probably not put in JonBenets book.

Hmmm.

Wouldn't it be ironic IF Burke grows up to be a movie star, or a star performer of some type, scientific discovery OR?

The world is indeed a strange place.

Camper,

I'm inclined to agree with you. There's so many crime scene items of evidence missing that IMO the videos taken by the Ramseys on Christmas morning likely showed one or more of them, and therefore the video itself had to disappear.

Since I'm convinced that JonBenet had been stungunned, if I had to guess at one of the missing crime scene items probably shown in the video I'd have to say STUN GUN.

A picture of a Ramsey displaying a stun gun as a present on Christmas morning would tell the whole story and solve the case -- lock, stock and barrel.

It would BlueCrab and even though I think BDI or at least RDI (Lean toward Burke with a Patsy cover up and a John 'go along'), I still think any of them getting a stun gun for a holiday gift is a bit far fetched.

I had more of a 'person' in mind in the missing Christmas movie, like a relative with an alibi. Why would anyone in the Ramsey family NEED a stun gun, OR be given one?

Lets think, someone to hone their skills for shooting at 'stuff' sounds like might be a kid, remember Opie with his slingshot in the Andy show, shooting and accidentally killing a mama bird with babies.

I don't think the recipient of a stun gun at the Ramseys would have been Burke, nope!! How about mice in the neighborhood, perhaps Burke would have been given an assignment to kill mice in the basement. This I would believe.

My sons had BB guns, and did mouse kill on our rural property with them, takes a good eye to get that done.

How about someone who had been threatened? How about giving one to Patsy to protect her and JonBenet on their beauty pageant travels. I sorta like this thought.

Why would John Andrew need a stun gun? My mind went into a couple of places on that thought, but will keep it to myself, because any connection I would make in my mind would not be based on any information that WE have an OFFICIAL source for.

How about John being given one for his work with Access Graphics, DID he travel extensively for the company ?, I donut know. Why not get one through the company and pay for it out of company funds?

Well why does ANYONE need a stun gun? Police for their own personal protection in dealing with the seamier side of their work related contacts.

People who make bank deposits AFTER hours for their companies.

Crooks.

People who buy drugs from scary suppliers, in case a deal goes 'sour'.

People who sell drugs to scary people.

I don't know if there is jail time for shooting someone with a stun gun, does anyone know?

Pretty women who work in compromising areas of the city.
Any woman who works late hours and that do not have protected parking when they arrive home after dark.

Pick one.

How does one purchase a stun gun?
I can't imagine that they sell them to whomever walks in and wants one ... they're dangerous!
I wonder if there is some kind of criteria to follow before you can get one? Anyone know?

Okay ... I told myself to stop being lazy and looked it up myself.

This is what I found under a stun gun site FAQ area:

WOULDN'T* IT BE MORE PRUDENT TO JUST CARRY A HANDGUN?
In some rare situations, yes it would be. However, there is only one state in the nation that allows citizens to carry a concealed firearm and that is Vermont. Others require applying for a concealed carry permit from local authorities that usually require training as well. Some states say they issue concealed carry permits but only in rare instances. Some do not issue concealed carry permits at all. If you are caught carrying a firearm without a permit, the legal consequences can be severe including fines, incarceration and a ban on owning firearms, possibly for life, in some states.

It seems like it would be difficult to buy one, just for a Christmas gift.

Alright ... I must have worked way to hard today,my post above is a question for a hand gun,not a stun gun. Sorry ... please diregard.

So .... my question still stands ... I wonder how easily one can purchase a stun gun? lol.

LOL, capps!! I was reading it and thinking.......is it considered a firearm? LOLOL

Now that I have had a nice dinner, and am settled back with a glass of Pinot Grigio ... I have my wits about me again.

Apparently,it's not hard at all to purchase a stun gun.It is illegal in some states, but Colorado is not one of them. One just needs to prove they are 18 yrs. old ... and viola ... a stun gun is yours.

Gosh, that just doesn't seem right to me,every crazy person walking around Colorado can purchase one ... that's scary.

I thought in the states anyone could have any sort of gun.....thought you could walk into Wal Mart and purchase bullets.....

Cant imagine getting your hands on a stun gun would be that hard over there....

.... that would be Iraq.

Well, that is my understanding of how it is over there. Get a licence, get a gun....easy peasy. Maybe that isn't quite how it is, but I know it is alot easier to obtain a gun there than it is here.
Don't get me started on GW Bush and the war in Iraq!

I watched a programme about the Columbine shootings and at the start it showed how an American bank was giving firearms as a gift to new customers.

Stunguns are illegal in the UK. However, many police forces now carry them.

I hate guns and I've never touched a real one. The only guns I've ever seen have been those carried by airport security police. We have a problem with knives here in the UK, but at least if you see someone coming at you with a knife, you have a chance of running away or dodging it.

Jayelles,

Your knife problem in the UK would be considerably alleviated if the knife wielders began looking down the barrel of 38 specials pointed directly at them by honest citizens who hold concealed weapons licenses.

I concur.

Wonder how long until the arms manufacturers come up with a Transmogrifying Gun?

Or a gun that ONLY women can purchase, that shoots 1000 dressmaking pins that are dipped into tatoo ink, into the offender, keep em busy picking those out, while the woman runs away from her attacker. Maybe have a shot pattern that spells out, I am an attacker, makes em easy to spot in a police lineup.

Good old Charlie Brown.

Nope, sorry, I don't have an answer. But the list reminded me, there's another "Godfather". No stunguns but maybe a little understanding of criminal minds? I never watched the earlier ones. It's on a "Spike" channel.
Don't know if I'll last through it all.

If Patsy fell asleep on a basement sofa while waiting with someone for a photographer, as in one of the members' theories, Aussieshiela I believe, would she have heard the scream, that police determined couldn't be heard in the parents' bedroom but loud and clear across the street?

Probably she would have heard it if she were still in the basement? So, had she in fact gone upstairs to lie down in her own bed, explaining to TRUSTED guests, possibly complete strangers, that she had to be up early the next morning?

And did she maybe leave her jacket downstairs, reason fibers from it were, I believe it's been said, on the duct tape? It's my opinion that the perp took the pineapple bowl out of the sink or dishwasher, wearing gloves, when he had free run of the house while PR was possibly sleeping, staged other evidence such as the suitcase, dictionary, the footprint in the mold, and maybe the fibers.

Something occurred to me regarding the interview with Patsy and the picture of JB "taken" in the laundry room. I am now inclined to believe that there was no printed picture as I have always previously envisioned. Rather, I lean toward there being a picture of JB doing something " cutesy" in the laundry room on the roll of film that was removed from the camera and developed by LE. You know, the roll that had random pics snapped of the hallway etc.

Nehemiah,
13 PATSY RAMSEY: Taken of her in the
14 laundry room?
15 TRIP DeMUTH: No, no. Photographs
16 of her located in the laundry room?

Well in the above interview excerpt Trip DeMuth explicitly says photographs of JonBenet in the laundry room, note the plural. So there is more than one, patently someones JonBenet collection has been dumped in the laundry room.

I think Patsy knows this since she asks stupid questions, she knows full well what they are asking but she just acts dumb!

The interviews are confusing in the way the questions are asked of Patsy.

I am now of the mindset that the photographs may have been taken in the laundry room and are on the roll of film that was in the camera. I think LE was subtly trying to find out who took the pictures; who was in the basement with JB on either Christmas Day or evening. LE had the photos from the camera. On the same roll of film were random photos of the hallway, which makes me wonder if the kids were playing with the camera and went into the basement with it . Not that anything sinister was necessarily involved, but based on where the laundry room photos were sequenced on the roll of film could possibly be a clue as to the validity of JB going straight to bed when they returned from the White's like was reported.

If my thoughts are correct, Patsy may have not even known that undeveloped photos of JB were on the camera. That alone could change the timeline and place someone in the family in the basement that evening. LE may have kept that info close to their vests.

If BlueCrab were around, he may actually know. But no one knows what's happened to him over the years.
