Jean-Michel Collinge, disappeared in April 1973.
His father Pierre Collinge (1925-1997) and his family of five children (including Jean-Michel, born in Belgium in Nov. 1948) emigrated to Canada around 1960. Pierre was a Professor in the Dept. of Humanities and Communications, at the University of Sherbrooke.
Jean-Michel worked in Information Technology, for a company or organization he never named. He was a Mathematics genius. He lived in Montreal. He went to Sherbrooke for his mother's birthday. He announced that he was going on a business trip to the Western U.S. That was the last time his family saw him. Afterwards, the rent on his apartment went unpaid. The mail piled up in his letterbox.
Curiously, his name does not appear in the list of missing persons of the Montreal Police, and the Quebec Provincial Police
