Well I don't know any of them, but from what we've heard, Brad and Angelina have handed out food in earthquake ravaged Afghanistan. Adopted children from third-world countries, donated money to charities in Africa and are these days working to rebuild New Orleans. During that same period of time, Jennifer Anniston was pulled over for drunk driving, seen dining out in every hot spot frequented by the press, photographed topless and making out with Vince Vaughn. I just sort of compared the lives and made my opinion.

While AJ and Brad handed out food and adopted kids and saved the world I ate out, kissed my husband, got my hair cut, and went to the mall and bought a new pair of jeans. Guess that makes me shallow and selfish too.

For all we know Aniston may be a wonderful person quietly donating millions to charity. Or she may be the worlds biggest child hating witch. Who knows. I don't think you can make an absolute judgement on who she is by the pics the paparazzi takes.

If I am not mistaken, Vince was pulled over for drunk driving - not Jennifer. And photographed topless - are those the photos from her vacation when the paparazzi were in the trees?

As for her not gong all over the world to donate her time, many celebs and regular people do stuff behind the scenes that aren't photo opps. I've done a couple of charity/community events that Vince and Jen (long time ago before they were together) were part of. Just because she doesnt' tip the media off in advance, doesn't mean she shuns charity work.

How true. It always makes me shake my head when I see these rich, so-called benevolent celebrities who take along their own photographers/film crews to make sure the world knows how giving they are.

I'm not saying that she's a bad person. Just "in herself." Maybe she's not a "community oriented" type of person. Maybe that's the reason she and Brad didnt' work out. There are people who just want to live their lives and there are others who feel they can do some good for others. Maybe Brad felt as though with all his good fortune, he owed something back.

I see what you are saying, although I don't agree. I think every "celebrity" is into themself to some extent or they wouldn't be in the business.

I happen to think Brad, a man who is known for hooking up with his costars, was onsite, living far away from his wife and became attracted to his beautiful and sexy, mysterious costar who is also known for hooking up with her costars.

I find it in very ill taste that people blame the demise of their marriage on Jennifer being selfish and not wanting a family. Where is the proof of her not wanting a child? The fact that they didn't have one? Sorry, that's not proof enough for me.

I'm going to agree with this.. AJ and BP are probably loving the spotlight on their "good deeds".. I believe others generously give but they do it quietly.. The best way IMO...

I agree with you about "celebrities." I don't blame either of them for the demise of their marriage. Since none of us knows the whole truth, its hard to assess blame. I think they're both known for getting close to those they work with.

When you're that famous, there's not a hell of a lot you can do quietly, especially if you want to be hands on and not just write a check. I think anything anyone can do for others is a good thing though.

Jennifer is alone and there is probably only so much that she can do as far as charity work and still keep her career going since she didn't do as many movies as Pitt and Jolie and may not have the time or be as wealthy. If she became very visible in charity work now, people would think that she were only trying to outdo Jolie. I think that Brad will oneday, in about 10 years or so, tire of this lifestyle with Angelina and find a younger woman.
