The chants of 'Jerry, Jerry, Jerry' are fading out as The Jerry Springer Show is wrapping up after 27 years on air, according to multiple insiders.

A wrap party was held for the tabloid talk show - marked by its volatile shouting matches and brawls - on June 8 with a video monitor reading, 'I survived The Jerry Springer Show,' a source told US Thursday, noting that staffers on the production side of the program have been laid off.

Moving forward, a mix of the current shows and pre-produced original episodes will be broadcast on The CW, sources told the magazine, with reruns set to continue airing in syndication.

I never got why the show was popular it looked like the worst entertainment imaginable.

My son used to try and watch it back in the day, along with Howard Stern...I always made him turn it off. It's become a "Jerry Springer World" from what I can see. The show was just stupid and repetitious IMHO. Good riddance.

I used to love the Jerry Springer show back in the 90s. I had no idea it was still going.

Back then it was like anthropology, and with all the twists and turns in the shows it made you laugh and gasp, but at the same time it felt made up.

Nowadays I'd probably be more "omg these people have a vote?"

I did always like the phrase "kick him to the kerb, girl!"

And I loved Jerry's final words at the end of a show.
