I think Joan crossed the line here. I agree as adults we can handle someone talking trash but to me talking trash about a baby is just a no-no. You just don't do it. Ever! Not to mention the source here I mean come on the lady looks like a freak of nature...:banghead:
I totally agree! Kids should be OFF LIMITS. This is in bad taste .

i agree kazzbar...heck, Joan even pokes fun at herself about her own cosmetic surgeries....the "pork sausages glued on" made me laugh out loud....i think AJ is gorgeous, but my oldest son makes fun of her lips also.....
Great Close enough. At least someone agrees with me.Comedians do make fun of people. It is what they do. I am sick of all the political correctness in the world. Putting Suri's pictures out there makes her a target for these things, that and the fact her dad is a nutcase.!

Me too Kazz, everything is so restrained and constrained these days.

I really think there's something wrong with Cruise, how ironic seeing as he doesn't believe in mental illness.

in my book, cruel is never funny.

I agree. As much as I dislike Tom Cruise, I think their baby is adorable. I think children of celebs should be off limits. No talking about them or trying to get pictures. We live in a nutty world and they really need to be protected (I would never do a photo spread of my children). I feel so sorry for these little kids when their mom or dad has them at McDonald's and there's a gaggle of photogs pushing their way in to get a picture. I think the media has crossed way over the line lately. They just hound these people.

Every time I stuff a cheeseburger into my mouth, I am grateful that I am a nobody! I can't imagine going to the store a week later, and seeing myself on the front of a tabloid.

And Joan Rivers has no room to talk. She looks like a poster child for plastic surgery gone wrong.

Yes,I'd say she has matured---but to think she was with billy bob thornton once really makes my skin crawl--he is definitely the bottom of the barrel--anyway she's made some good films and we loved her Lara Croft movies--she's quite talented

I read an article on Suri and basically it said that alot of people secretly hoped that she would be an "ugly" baby (not possible, IMO), and then when she was born being absolutely gorgeous, people were put off about it. Of course, it was just an entertainment blog/magazine.....it was interesting, though....may be not totally off base.

Personally, I don't think ANY baby is UGLY. Some may look a little "different", but the pure sweetness and innocence of babies totally compensates for anyones preconceived notion of beauty, IMO. But I DO think that Suri is really beautiful, above and beyond the average cuteness of most.

Prior to marrying Billy Bob, she was married to actor Jonny Lee Miller.
At their marriage ceremony, Angelina had painted his name on the back of her shirt in her own blood.

True love. :blowkiss:

I know but ripping on adult people is one thing. (not that I think it is ok but we can hold our own). Ripping on a baby I just don't even understand that?! Baby Suri is just a innocent beautiful baby girl I don't know why that can't be all that is said about her why would anyone even look at something so innocent and think negative? I'm not sure if any of you seen Joans daughter Melissa .... now if Joan wants to start ripping people apart she should start in her own back yard.

She's only saying what some people think...I don't see the harm in that. Sure, some things are best left unsaid, but this is Joan Rivers we're talking about. Ripping on people is her hallmark.

I have actually met Joan Rivers. She goes to my nail salon, although she gets her nails done in their private VIP room. She is VERY nice in person,
but she is definitely pulled so tight, so is about to crack.

I see what you're saying. My take on it is it's more of a slam against Tom and Katie that it really is about Suri. I know adults can hold their own most of the time, but it's not like Suri can pick up a magazine or turn on TV and understand what is being said about her this very moment. She's less than a year old, she can't cognitively comprehend a slam from Joan Rivers. Some adults can't either. :D

...Referring to Suri's appearance and thick head of hair in the family's recent Vanity Fair photo shoot, Rivers said: "She's obviously Asian and wears a wig."...

Don't you guys just think that Joan Rivers was being "tongue and cheek" with her comments about Suri? After all, those are the two biggest rumors on the Internet. ;)

I just can't imagine being hounded like that.

I'm sure these people understood that to be a "star" they were probably going to have to deal with some of the stuff...but really, having photogs hanging from helicopiters and taking picturs of the stars while they are on their private property, is just too much. They can't have a normal life. I think the papparazzi is out of control.
