Totally Off Topic

I was catching up on this morning's testimony and remembered someone said the attorney/guest who I really love on IS David Otunga is Jennifer Hudson's husband so I went a-googlin before bed and found this picture. I am headed to bed with a smile. You know J-Hud is a homicide victim's family as well so his commentary is so much more meaningful to me.

Enjoy. What a stunning pair. :)

I find him very attractive and intelligent and wouldn't mind one bit if he were to sit opposite Vinnie, on my screen all day. :blushing:

I added the photo of lil Travis to a screenshot from part 2 video

Such a good looking family! I just reminded my husband that he was born 15 days before Travis :ohwow:

On the laptop stolen from the Prosecutor's Rebuttal Witness, Dr.Demarte, that contained JA Psych Profile and all the info for rebuttal. I hope yall are right and Juan already has copies of everything. I'm worried the defense team wll get a "courtesy" copy from thiefs and will give them advantage.

http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/2...t-witness-in-arias-trial-has-home-burglarized

1. The News story broke around 3:50 arizona time so wondering if this perhaps played a part in early dismissal today

2. Would just the AZ police investigate or would feds get involved. I hope they are looking at JA family and friends and most importantly, any jailbird friends jodi has made while in the pen...many could have been released in these four years and be loyal to JA

if the profile gets leaked to the public by the press or web - it could be very bad, possible mistrial, or defendat can be permanently predijuced - then idk what happen :(

i say we need to monitor that crazy jodi is innocent page - i bet they would be the first to leak it - imo -

Katie,
I really enjoy your posts and hang on every word. I've seen you on Dr. Drew and you and the other Katie do such a wonderful job describing what goes on in the courtroom. Thank you! I just over at the ABC site watching video clips of the trial. I posted above my reaction to what Nancy Grace said about women at the jail believing Jodi killed out of self defense. Please tell me that you haven't not encountered the same beliefs from women at the courthouse! It floors me that anyone could buy Jodi's story. I know they are out there...but many? Nancy said she ran into "many". Boogles the mind!

I believe Arias has quite the "captive" audience in jail :jail:

:floorlaugh:

What else have they got to do. And of course they are ALL innocent! So of course they believe she is not guilty of pre-meditated murder!!!

Hey, guys, it's been a while.

:)

The only things I know about JA are from watching this trial. IMO, she's toast. As in, getting the needle. She butchered that poor man. I don't give an iota if he was having sex with every girl in Arizona, stringing her along, then tap dancing on her boy shorts while taking break from helping drunk girls - - she slaughtered a defenseless human being while he was in the shower. This was not, in any way whatsoever, a fight for her life. She disgusts me.

IMO, of course.

I really like Nancy and I guarantee she doesn't think this chick will walk. Maybe she's got a little PTSD (like many) from that other case she followed so closely.

I think we ALL have a little PTSD from that other trial!

We have seen how LYING in court of law by defendants and defense attorneys go. I would like to think that was a one time deal and would like to think that these jurors are not another "Pinellas 12".

----
I already have a bit of PTSD listening to Arias drone on and on and...well, you know. I had to stop listening by about 5:30 my time yesterday (NY time) and most days. I am, unfortunately, unemployed at this time, and have been watching this trial (inluding starting at 9am for recap on In Session) and have noticed I am "irritated" by the end of the day!! :banghead: But I am glad I am able to come here and and talk about it and let off some steam with all of you !

Nancy talked to a bunch of inmates in the jail in a restricted area bonded with Jodi listening to her rehearse her story for 4 years.

For me, enough said.

PS One of them thought the defendant cut up his body and deposited it all over the desert. So there's that too.

BBM…Just goes to show you those inmates don't get out much.:floorlaugh:

NG probably talked to 3 or 4 inmates and we all KNOW the jails are just packed full of innocent people. :what: Me thinks NG just likes to keep the pot stirred.

Let the inmates watch the videos of Jodi's police interrogations and we'll see how many believe her after that. (Unless she's providing jailhouse goodies from her eBay money for them.)

I have to wonder if dr drew watches the trials he talks about. I'm watching the repeat and he said all the graphic details being discussed in front of his mom.

Good to hear that Tanisha and Steven believe in the death penalty! I live in Texas and this state is really pro DP.

BBM:"Pro DP"…heck, you've got an express lane!

I think it is a bit creepy how this guy has been seeing JA in jail for the past year. He is labeled the new guy in her life. He has a striking resemblance to TA. It really stood out to me.

Personally, I do not see what when they had sex has to with anything. It spices it up for people who are interested in that kind of thing.

But what does it have to do with her stewing for a period of time, devising a "foolproof" plan, and killing him?

So if they had sex 95 times a day and extra on Sundays after church, what does that have to do with killing him?

What's that old saying? It goes something like: "Sex is 5% between the legs, and 95% between the ears." Meaning that sex is much more a mental matter than most of us realize.

So since Jodi & Travis's mental state is important to this case -- and since there's clear evidence that sex play, nude photos, etc. were a part of their relationship, despite strict religious admonitions -- there is justification for examining their psycho-sexual situation.

Similarly, one of Travis's friends said on HLN that Travis told him Jodi is a nympho. This is considered hearsay, so I doubt it will ever be brought up at the trial. However, there is admissible evidence in Travis's email that he considered Jodi a "3-hole wonder" and that she made him feel like a "dildo with a heartbeat."

Seems like she's saying he wanted sex all the time, when really it is HER. Something seems broken here; personally, I'm curious about what the problem is (clinically speaking). It's irritating and wacky that she keeps putting all of this on Travis.

It's also irritating and wacky that he may have always just pointed the finger at HER. It's not right to just look at one side, and ignore the other.

There was a lot going on with them sexually, and it likely had something to do with his death -- e.g., they took nude photos together just before he was killed. Seems like something the court & jury definitely need to understand and evaluate. I hope the psych expert(s) will help people understand how all of this fits together (as well as the religious factor).

Wow. When he visits her there is "a lot of joking, a lot of laughing and a lot of good times..coz that's what she needs right now..." :waitasec:

WTH??

So while she is stiing in court, with pictures of Travis' brutally murdered body being shown and her sitting on the stand with her sob story...behind the scenes, she is joking and laughing and having good times???

I cannot wait for Juan to tear her aprt on cross and blow her BS outta the ball park in his rebuttal.

However, the actress that she is, I think she may remain perfectly calm while he blasts her. What do you think?

I know right? Doesnt exactly paint her as remorseful or to even give a crap what she has done

I certainly hope the jury doesn't fall for JA's tales as it is clear to me that she was the abuser. While some women may return to their abuser it is often young women who have had little experience about what a relationship is supposed to be or they live ( and are financially dependent upon ) with and/or they have children with their abuser. JA is not a young innocent woman, no matter how she tries to appear on the stand. He didn't convince her to do something she had never done before. I think she was the aggressor. JA used sex to control people and TA didn't allow her to control him. It was his mistake. She has a new man in her life? No big surprise. MOO

I think she will play wounded lamb and try and draw more sympathy from the jury. I think JM will need to be careful that his demeanor towards her doesn't backfire on the prosecution.:moo:
