Yeah, the arm motion - ugh. First extending his arm as if to loosen his shirt sleeve, then the hand to face and that big watch -I hate that!

I also cringe at each:
1. "Well let's back up"
2. "Let me ask you this..."
3. "Let me ask you a question". (For crying out loud, just ask the question!)
4. "So let me understand what you're saying" then repeating exactly what she said.
5. Everything else he says.

~that's all!

He also says aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand:banghead:

It would be hard for JA to out right trash Travis. Everywhere she spoke, she praised how wonderful Travis is/was. While I realize this could be addressed by an expert, I believe her trashing him during the trial would put her over a line that the jury simply would not tolerate. jmo

I think you're being contrary and sarcastic ;)

My personal evaluation is based on the fact that Jodi is a liar who brutally killed Travis Alexander. She is testifying to save herself from the death penalty and will say literally anything to save her own life. Her account of the baptism day makes absolutely no sense and is not believable -- it seems calculated to falsely paint herself as a victim of a brutish pig of a man, which Travis was not, according to every single other account by anyone who ever knew him.

You are welcome to disregard those facts, and take Jodi's every salacious unbelievable account as the complete truth. I don't understand it at all because that seems to be a complete suspension of logic, but I'm sure you have very good reasons for wanting to dismiss every account of Travis, other than Jodi's.

Minor4th...way to go! You are logical, precise and using your intelligence.

My statement I am afraid is what starts this (the one about pollyanna and means I can go kill someone). I was being very sarcastic, and in no ways was intended to be a statement of fact. I did not realize it would start anything. If it such an offensive comment to you I apologize. I will refrain from making any more comments.

Please don't stop commenting. I understood your comment was sarcastic and I for one enjoyed it.

Listening to Jodi's "drunk woman" story. She describes "generous cleavage". What ya wanna bet that's when she decided to get her boob job?

Somehow I missed this part of her testimony. Could you please let me know where to look for it? TIA

Did anyone happen to catch Vinny on IS regarding the stolen laptop? TIA. I missed it. Phone call. I think my Friends/Family think I am mad at them. My convos are basically Yep,Nope, all good,Bye. Always seem to call when i really want to hear something :waitasec:

This is funny Bravo! I don't even pick up half of mine while court is in session.:blushing:

And "Would you be so kind...".
I don't want to be kind to him. I hate what he is guiding JA to say - bending every statement into "mean Travis, poor innocent JA".

Iirc No one ever said it was the ONLY reason she killed him. If I'm wrong please link me to the alleged statement it was the ONLY reason.

This looks like a pretty blatant causal relationship to me:

AHH I get it now. So if someone calls me a Pollyanna it gives me the right to stab them 27 times, slit their throat and put a bullet in their face.

I'm sorry Feebot. I don't know at what point she told this whopper. I am watching IS, and they are replaying parts of her testimony. It was yesterday, but I don't know the time marker.

I have noticed when either Jodi or Nurmi want to reiterate something, they say "I am sorry would you repeat that" "Or I didn't hear that".

It's not offensive to me. There is just no need to say things that tend to make those in favor of Arias getting convicted look like they're having to reach to come to this conclusion, when there are metric tons of valid reasons to hate the girl. In my opinion. I don't want you to stop commenting. You're not the first person that's done it, nor will you most likely be the last. Just pointing out that from the outside, it looks like that's the sort of arguments that need to be resorted to.

It's when she is talking about Travis holding up a drunk girl and how JA stayed in a bathroom stall for 30 minutes crying.

Me too. I am giving them both lots of treats instead of playing with them, and I feel so guilty. (Dog abuse) lol

Sorry if this offends anyone but..

Every time they say "we have to warn you this testimony is" I always hear a big old pile of steaming bs.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet (I'm sure it has) but, Cameron Diaz wore Spiderman underwear in the movie "There's Something About Mary" in a very memorable scene. Since that movie is a very popular "date movie" and Travis seems to have had a big sense of humor I would venture to guess maybe this was the reason for the "gag" gift. Not because he was a closet pedophile (ridiculous!)

i've noticed that j.a. has been saying "sorry," rather demurely, after JM objects.. it made me wonder if this is a ploy to seem intimidated.
