Let's all remember that Juan gets the last word.
I wouldn't want him to cross-exam me about stealing a pack of M&M's, fgs! He's every killer's nightmare in a courtroom, and my guess is that defense attorney's don't like to go up against him either. Every time he would get up to cross a defense witness, I could see JA's defense team tense up and look wary. I don't blame them.

I sound like a googly-eyed fan girl, so I'll stop now, lol.

All just IMO, of course.

I'm REALLY hoping for that!! I want full-fledged rage to the point she jumps out of her seat they have to use the leg tazer on her!!:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: STOP, DROP & ROLL JODI!!

She's wears a stunbelt in court at all times. If she goes nuts, it can be activated by remote control. From Nancy Grace:

"C.W., she is wearing a stun belt in court. How does that work?

C.W. JENSEN, RETIRED PORTLAND POLICE CAPTAIN: Well, what they do is - - I mean, obviously, they have some concern about her mental stability, so they want to have a device on her so if she nuts up on him, you know, they don`t have to have a couple of cops run up and like, you know -- you know, hit her with a stun gun and choke her out or anything like that. So it`d be very easy if she gets crazy on the stand. They just have to hit the button, boom, she goes down, and it`s very nice and clean, and you don`t have to have a big deal."

It was insinuated that it was unwelcomed and therefore from that the jury is supposed to infer that Travis raped her and is a brute.

Yep she just clenched her teeth and bared it like a good little girl.... That learned early because daddy.... Oh wait, that last part was Casey's tale

Let's say you believe every.single.word that has come out of Arias' mouth so far. You feel sorry for her, she was used and cast aside. Terrible, just terrible.

BUT, does that justify TA's killing? And WHAT have you heard so far that you would consider "abuse" and "life in danger?" How are you justifying the killing even if you truly believe everything Arias asserts? Remember, for a self-defense claim you have to PROVE that your life was in danger or that you reasonably thought it was. And the force you use as a result must be considered reasonable.

A single gun shot could be considered 'reasonable.' 27+ stab wounds and ear-to-ear neck slicing, not so much. Sorry, but it just doesn't.

OH, PLEASE!!!!! :please:

Has JA yet described how controlled she felt when TA laid down the law that there would be absolutely no employment of the "C", "P", or "F" words?

(crap, poop or fart)

There is just so much evidence that points to a premeditated rage filled killing. Nothing she has mentioned points to self defense. Hopefully the jury will ask the following questions when they get their chance to discuss this case. Sex is sex and she did say he NEVER raped her!

Why rent a car outside of your hometown? I really wish the rental car had been found earlier and those stains could have been tested. I have no doubt that the kool-aid stains are blood and the missing car mats are a HUGE red flag!

Gas cans? Seriously? Why couldn’t someone have rear ended her while these were in the car?

No cell phone activity for a whole day and a half (this girl is known for being obsessed with a phone). I do give her credit she did her homework on the pings of cell phone towers.

The pictures on the camera are the biggest thing to me! She rushed her so called "clean up" and left that camera. I know there was DNA found at the house but this sealed her as being there on that very day. If she was TRULY a victim why would she let him take such NASTY close up pictures of her very private parts?

Will the jury get to see her interviews with the media? These show what a known liar she truly is..

The biggest thing to me is the 9 stabs in the back... That is in no way self defense. How in the world did that happen according to Jodi? If he was on top of her while she had the knife wouldn't he have been stabbed in the sides? I don't recall any stab wounds in his sides or ribs. Someone correct me if I am wrong here but unless she has go go gadget arms there is no way she could have stabbed TA in the back while he was on top of her....

She is a cold calculated killer. No doubt about it and I truly hope TA gets the justice he deserves.

Trust me. JA has meticulously worked out an explanation for every fact noted above.
She will have an answer for the phone, the gas cans, the white car, the license plate adjustment, the pig tails, the altered hair, the camera in the laundry, the deleted photos, the washing machine, the parked corpse in the shower stall, the undiscovered homicide weapons, wound patterns, the late voice mail message to TA, the flirtation with the SLC man, the lies told to police in July, the early elective phone calls to the Mesa police, her attendance at the TA funeral.
I suspect JA will continue to testify for another entire week . She needs to detail all the increasing sexual acts. She needs to show TA became more controlling and more abusive. JA can continue her travel logs regarding their excursions and describe all the demeaning sex that took place on those trips. JA needs to add into the mix that TA began using physical abuse and that he smacked her frequently across the hands and face. She will reinforce the fact that TA kept his sexual and physical abuse SECRET. The defense needs to play the recorded sex tape. Defense will end the murder scene sequence on a Thursday so the jury can digest the horrific struggle over a three day weekend. On a Monday defense will then explain JA post crime behavior. I will wager that a cross exam will begin the week of Feb 18

If I were a juror...

watching and listening to JA day after day giving overly detailed information about the most basic and irrelevant things - fast-forward to when JA actually provides details of the day she murdered Travis. As a juror, I'm expecting more of the same...

But JA then claims some sort of "amnesia" about the events that played out that particular day - if I were a juror I would look at that unfavorably - Very unfavorably.

That being said, I cannot for the life of me see where/how, given the testimony JA's provided thus far, this can lead up to any sort of reasonable explanation for a justifiable murder. Just not seeing it... JMO ~

And I would love to hear Nancy Grace's commentary just before and after she gives her "the button". I love to laugh at Nancy when she goes off the rails.

I hope Juan lines up every single one of Travis' friends/loved ones and goes through JA's lies one by one. Who supposedly heard what and what really happened, as well as what JA was really like. I believe Juan is allowed to do this since so much is being brought up in direct. I would love for the jury to hear that JA is not the saint she's painting herself to be and that Travis was a typical, average, smart mouthed (and I mean that in a nice way - he seemed to be a witty, quick "class clown" type), confident (maybe cocky at times), genuinely nice and caring twenty-something. Not the monster she's portraying him to be. The jury needs to hear that.

I have the same phone. Do you have an app to read these threads vs. just pulling it up normally? TIA

It was insinuated that it was unwelcomed and therefore from that the jury is supposed to infer that Travis raped her and is a brute.

In your opinion. My takeaway was he was insensitive and hypocritical, and she was intentionally submissive to acquiesce to his wishes, even if it was unpleasant for her. I def did not interpret rape.

I think she still needs to prove he ever was controlling and abusive first. JMO

She thinks she has all the details worked out! She thinks she's the smartest one in the courtroom.

Hoping the jurors prove her wrong
