I do not doubt she will construct the biggest fairytale of a story to make her seem as if she was not an active participant in this "relationship abuse"!!!

I've been verbally and mentally abused and it was with someone I was living with at that time. However I would have NEVER gotten in a car and drove that many miles to see my abuser. That is the biggest misconception here. If she was that afraid of the "anal, oral or vag sex" then why drive all that way? Why not go see SLC guy directly? Oh I know I know the answer! She was NEVER EVER abused she allowed her body to be treated like a F-buddy! It has already been submitted as evidence that she was sexually aggressive in the past with Darrel and took aggressive moves with the SLC guy too. So I honestly believe she was the one who corrupted TA and served herself up on a sexual platter for him. Now being the poor naive guy he was he couldn't resist this blonde California girl with fun bags!

I believe she can explain things all she wants but the truth will be shown that there is NOTHING to back up her claims of abuse. No evidence of it either. Sure the guy called her names and used her body but does that honestly give a reason for “self defense”? :banghead:

I honestly believe she was the one using him for sex. Not only because she likes it but as a weapon to manipulate men. The men in her life enjoying the sex isn't really the point . IMO

Oh! That reminds me, I need to go back and look but my BF was laughing so hard last night bc he said he was watching her pour her water yesterday morning and the water carafe was all dirty!! He said if it was that dirty on the outside, whoever filled it up probably spit in it! (He was giving me grief about being obsessed with following this trial initially and now he's so involved he's pointing out all the crazy little details!!)

I'm sorry . . . . in my experience . . . . acryllic nails don't dig well . . . they are thick - do not scratch and if used as a "tool" will break off.

I think some are giving Jodi too much credit. She hardly comes across as personable, likable, or charming on the stand. If she did I'd be far more concerned her testimony would be capable of swaying the jury.

Yesterday I was quite literally floored at what seemed to be her interpretation of an abusive relationship. Now, we all know abuse comes in all shapes and colors but her account of events lacked even the most basic of telltale 'markers'. I was stunned and stated so at the time. She could have studied abusive relationships or even spoken to other inmates about their experiences to gain a better insight as to how to portray her story. In my opinion it is pretty apparent she hasn't.

I believe instead, like most psychopaths, she believes she is superior to those around her. How could anyone question the account of a seemingly reasonable, highly articulate, mild-mannered woman? And that will ultimately be her own downfall - her own arrogance. JMO

IMO psychopaths do best one on one after they select their prey/target.

Large groups not so much.

I so wish I was in charge of that stun gun. Every time Jodi started to tell a lie, another words every time Jodi inhaled, she'd get zapped.

I don't think we should be too hard on Nurmi. He doesn't want to be there. He tried to be removed from this case. He is being forced to defend Jodi Arias. He is working with only what he has and reluctantly at that. He had no choice in the matter.

IMO because what happened, according to Jodi Arias, on the day she killed Travis Alexander will be so weak as to support the claim of self defense that the defense needs to do whatever it can by dragging TA's family, the jury and the public through every moment of Jodi's empty life to try to get one juror to feel sympathy.

I hope JM skips right over everything JA said until she starts talking about when she very first met Travis, except for the man she was living with when she met Travis, just to show Travis was not the first time she had anal and oral sex with.

Who would call a thirty year old man a 'boyfriend'? Nurmi - to exaggerate the portrayal of his client as a guileless and naive young woman. imo

Oh I totally agree Linda! She used it as a tool. I mean she had sex with Darrel on their first date in San Fran. I believe whole heartily that she thinks she can rule the world with what she has in-between her legs. Let’s take this innocent religious man and give him something he's never had. She does that but it didn't end the way she wanted it to and couldn’t bare him moving on. Him possibly finding someone to marry and have a family with so she cuts his life short.. Why share him if she can just end him?

After listening to several hours of the JA testimony I find it hard to decide who is the most annoying- JA or Keith Nurmi. While JA is egregiously nauseating in her acting lying and hypocrisy Nurmi in many respects is more bothersome.
His repetitive tics, like sticking the right hand in the pocket and swinging the left hand in a circular motion, behave as if this left hand motion functions to extract words out of his bovine brain. Nurmi’s slow halting mindnumbing repetition of words and his unimaginative questions are grating. His speech rhythm is at first soporific and later irksome.
Nurmi’s constant inappropriate use of the phrase “ at this point in time” is like someone scratching a chalk board. In short the US Department of Defense or CIA no longer needs to use “torture techniques” to extract confessions from terrorists, rather the government merely needs to park Nurmi at a podium and let him act as if he is a real trial lawyer. Under those conditions the culprit would quickly cave and scream “no more; no more. . . .please do not Nurmi me anymore!”

I know what your are saying. Between his long,slow questions and her long, rambling answers I feel asleep the other day.
What I have noticed is how quite he and the investigator have been with her.
I think if JM does not push her hard we will never see the real jodi.

I'm so bummed that it's closed court today. :jail: Knowing arguments are going on about evidence... I just feel like we miss out on a lot of truth.

I have been thinking greatly about his family. How they can sit there and get through Jodi, this murderer(she is to me) lying for days about their beloved brother. I don't even know. It makes me have to step away sometimes becuase my anger builds and I can't take it. When I saw those horrible photos of Travis I thought this has got to be the worst part. Nope, I just can't get through her testimony.

Travis is very lucky only in that he has one incredible man working for him and his family. I am absolutely in love with Mr. Juan Martinez. He is actually a kind, soft spoken man. Until he gets into court and his battle for what's right begins. :justice: He blows my mind every time and I feel secure with him being there. If anything like this happened to me I'd want no one but Mr. Juan Martinez. He is an angel, a real live gift to those he fights for. :angel:
