I can't help but wonder why the phone conversation was even allowed, I thought you needed consent to record especially if you want to use it in court. This whole mockery of our justice system is so unbelievable. Allowing a murderer to victimize the victim and his family this way. And to have to watch her enjoy doing it....

Remember the Diane Downs case from long ago (1980's)? They used to describe her speaking style as "verbal vomit." She talked really fast, lots of detail, thought she had only to explain it and you would agree. I'm beginning to get what they meant.

She also changed her story a number of times and, I believe, is still at it 30 years later.

I'm not sure there is a need to, it really is inconsequential, especially with the receipt for the color. I've seen a client color her hair jet black one day, two days later strip it with stripper/bleach, two days later color it dark again.

He has already. He said she was blond.

But one prob. w. the gun-for-lone-woman-traveller is---
If that was the case (a poss. legit reason to have a gun), then why did she not ask grandparents to borrow a gun to use?


Why steal the gun from g'parents?

She supposedly didn't know the g'parents had a gun until they reported it stolen. (Which is a bunch of BS I think, but...) it meant she did snoop and find where ever it was they had the gun stashed.

My sister in Jr. high bounced from pitch black to platinum blonde frequently! Yes, her hair was damaged to pieces and chemically "cut" and uhhh "frayed" (not AFRAID.. *cough*) but yeah it is more than entirely possible.

Thank you for sharing your story. I hope your son is out of that relationship, sounds like a nightmare.

I agree, ja is not a victim, she is the predator.

It lasted through a daughter and many sex partners..always his friends. She attacked him on a Saturday when he said he'd had enough and he was the one arrested. After he was booked into the jail he was taken to the ER for his injures. She had none. He was found not guilty, afterward the jury wanted to know why she wasn't arrested. She broke up his second marriage by becoming his new wife's "best friend".

Here"s the thing...
Jodi is trying to portray the victim as "The Big Bad Wolf" and herself as innocent, "Little Red Riding Hood", skipping through the forest with her basket of "goodies" ...(ahem)...
Remember back to her first meeting with TA and she said that in the elevator he was licking his lips (I immediately thought of The Big Bad Wolf as a reference point) ...so from the very beginning of her testimony she was trying to portray the victim in this light...
The truth of the matter (IMO), is that the roles are reversed - she is, in all actuality "the Big Bad Wolf" - pretending to be all frail and helpless (like the wolf pretending to be grandma), when she is the one with all the abusive power in this relationship - "the better to kill you with"...
How sad and awful that she is able to tell her distorted and evil lies - discrediting the dignity and truth of who TA really was...
Hopefully the jurors will see through all of this like we do _ and I trust they will..
My thoughts go out to the TA's family, friends and all of us here who care about justice prevailing ...She is just plain Evil and that needs to be triumphed by all that is good and just .... and it will...(IMO)..
